Had a custom shower door made months ago. They cut the trim wrong and couldn't get the bottom bushing at the hinge installed. I noticed it on the first week after the install when it started making a screeching noise every time you open or close the door. After multiple emails ignored and even going to the store at least 5 times, with Dwight behind the counter behind completely useless because "he can't tell his boss what to do". I decided to give up on their really garbage customer service and give them this review. Go elsewhere if you want something done right.

We reluctantly asked Courtenay Glass to replace two French door and transom windows after the Covid shutdown. We were assured we would be satisfied with the end product.
The sealed unit windows installed had inside glass that was not properly cleaned ahead of it being sealed. The crew came back and replaced the windows from the same supplier one more time. These are as bad as the first replaced set. Their supplier is unreliable.
We paid $600 to have windows that are permanently dirty and way worse than the originals being replaced.
Courtenay Glass is unwilling to fix the problem and were quite rude when we last spoke to them about the faulty windows. We had also been told of another client of theirs with the same issue around the same time.
The work crew was great but the product is substandard and they have not honoured their promise. I could not recommend Courtenay Glass.

We had Courtenay Glass come and replace the wheels on our sliding patio door. Marty took great care in removing, working on and then replacing the door. He gave us tips on care and maintenance so that the door continues to slide with minimal force. Before, we had to "two hand" the door, now it takes two fingers.

We also had Courtenay Glass remove two large bathroom mirrors that had been installed with adhesive only. Again, they took great care in taking out the mirrors. Because of the adhesive, the mirrors broke when being removed (which we expected). The team worked safely and cleaned up the areas when finished.
We continue to work with Courtenay Glass to install new mirrors once the rest of the bathroom renos are done.
We highly recommend Courtenay Glass for any of your Glass needs.

The review from Mark Olfert is basically the exact same experience I had with Courtenay Glass. I asked multiple times about finding a solution that could make both parties happy but I was told "my options are getting very limited" because I was challenging them. In the end I was given the metaphorical middle finger. I was polite and respectful but he increased the temperature of the conversation very fast and tried his best to intimidate me. I couldn't believe that a locally owned business operates like this. Very disappointing and disgusting; I strongly warn using them cause when things go wrong they won't be there to help and work with the customer.

Courtenay glass have provided a number of windows for us. In each case the purchase price, service and follow up have been exemplary. The "customer service" is second to none especially with email correspondence. In one case a very large window had to be replaced due to a seal leak ... the problem was resolved with no questions asked and with a very quick turnaround. Going beyond the purchase price is the key here. No hesitation putting 5 stars on this post.

Ordered rectangular piece of 5mm as tabletop cover. Only 2 dimensions, and the glass was cut to the wrong size. The guy at Courtenay glass asked twice and I confirmed the dims (On the phone unfortunately). One of us was wrong... piece is 5" too short. I'm not saying it was the CG guy wo was wrong... it could have been on my side for all I know, but we were BOTH sure we got/gave the correct dims. What's really disappointing is the lack of any flexibility on their part to resolve this. The implied solution was that I would buy another piece, because it clearly was the customer's fault. I'd have accepted compromise solutions like "we're not sure where the problem was but we'll cut you another piece at cost" or something like that, but Dwight at Courtenay Glass seemed quite willing to have me just buy a replacement at retail price. Sorry buddy, but that's not the way I treat my customers. It's a shame since you generally seem to get extremely positive reviews, but I won't be doing business there again anytime soon.

Went with plexiglass samples to replace window shelves for plants wanting glass shelves for better support. Grumpy proprietor, willingness to help was poor, acted like I was interupting his day. Finally, suggest trying one shelf, when picked up, one corner was cracked. Competitor was much more positive, helpful, and stocked a better product, glass thickness and costed less

We thought we needed new vinyl windows in our house. We had two quotes from other glass shops in the Valley but Courtenay Glass convinced us that there was absolutely nothing wrong with our windows and made other very effective suggestions to reduce the moisture on the glass. Courtenay Glass saved us $12,000. Can't say enough about these guys and this isn't the first time. Thanks!
