I have come to DMC clinic for Botox as well as a non surgical rhinoplasty with Dr.Cam. I cannot stress enough how wonderful of an experience this has been overall. Dr.Cam is very thorough in explaining the procedure, expectations, risks, side effects and above all ensuring that as she’s performing the procedure, you are satisfied with the results. As someone who works in health care, I have seen first hand the importance of what proper communication and patient care looks like and Dr.Cam exemplifies this while being a true specialist in her field and having an incredible understanding of the facial anatomy and incredible skill in the treatments she provides. I wish I could say this was a great experience overall, but sadly, I left disappointed with my most recent visit to the clinic. Let me start by giving credit where it’s due.

Dr. Choi never pushed me to go for unnecessary procedures and gave me a more affordable option that provided better long-lasting results. For example, I initially wanted to get a chemical peel and a skin booster, but he suggested an alternative that was both cheaper and worked wonders on my skin. He’s also done an amazing job with removing warts and moles using laser treatment. My skin has definitely improved since then.

However, things went off track with my latest procedure. Dr. Choi suggested injecting filler under my eyes to tackle the “tired eyes” look. I was on board, but the procedure itself didn’t go as planned. I could tell right away that more filler was injected under my left eye, and almost none under the right. After the swelling went down, I was left with bluish lumps under my left eye and barely any effect on the right side.

When I came back for a follow-up, Dr. Choi noticed the unsatisfactory results immediately. But his solution - to add even more filler - sounded ridiculous. What concerned me even more was when I heard his confession that they usually use two types of filler with different viscosities. But not this time, because it would have been more expensive. That felt like a major misstep. I would have paid more or skipped the procedure altogether if I had been given that choice upfront.

I appreciate the positive experiences I’ve had here, but this last visit left me very disappointed.

Amazing experience!! I saw Dr. Cam for undereye sculptra and I am blown away by my results just after one treatment! They also made sure I was completely numb and took such great care of me during treatment.

I look so much more refreshed and vibrant! I flew to Canada all the way from Los Angeles to see her! I am a for-life patient now !!
