My experience has been absolutely phenomenal. Dr Nielsen's practice has multiple maternity doctors that allow me to see a doctor as often as I need. The online platform I have been offered as well with this practice, allows me to message my assigned maternity doctor at anytime (Dr. Shireen Alam) - this has been especially helpful as I have been sick 3 times during this pregnancy and able to speak with someone almost immediately. The reviews I read are old and quite frankly the team deserves an award for the amount of questions/sickness I have had and how they have helped. I have seen Dr. Nielsen three times, Dr. Warder twice, and been able to speak with Dr. Alam electronically daily if I need. If you are lucky enough to get in with availability this is the best physician experience I have ever had.

Dr. Nielson is quite possibly the best physician there is! I have NEVER had a bad experience with her. She listens to any and every question you have and answers them all with knowledge and experience. She never rushes you and you always leave feeling like your her only patient.
Don't book your appointment right before you have to be somewhere, because quite often she is late getting to you, but again, this is because she takes her time with her patients.

Today, I was called by Darcy Neilson (my GP since I was born - 30 years). She explained to me that because I was choosing to go with a midwife for my first pregnancy, I was choosing to leave her practice and be left without a GP. She stated that because I chose a midwife, it interferes with her practice. I am disgusted by the nature of her reasoning and comments. I feel discriminated against due to my choice as a woman on how I choose to birth my child. In no way should any human be told that they will be denied general medical care due to their decisions as a mother, a woman and a human being. This is wrong on so many levels and I don't know how she can sleep at night. She claimed that this is within her practice policy, yet I have never been presented with her practice policy. I am now left without a GP and no referral from her.

Any expecting mothers be warned of her discriminatory behaviour.

I am very impressed with Dr. Neilsen and her team! Dr. Neilsen is friendly, great with our kids, gives thorough explanations, and doesn't rush appointments. The receptionists do what they can to fit you in on short-notice when needed. Highly recommended!

I’ve gone to this dr my whole life. I love her so much. But if you want someone reliable go somewhere else. She never has time to see me, I can never get an appointment with her but as I struggle with mental illness I need a dr that can be there for me and see me when I need them most. That isn’t this dr and it breaks my heart. The receptionists are HORRIBLE!!!!!
