While visiting Powell River I get to shop at Eco Essentials. So great that this town has this awesome organic, zero waste shop! They have so much to offer and you can tell that everything is thoughtfully sourced. They make their own ice cream in house too called Wild Scoop. I had the mixed berry soft serve icecream and highly recommend!

I have a physical disability. I have therefore been in isolation for about 2 months. I decided to buy cat food at this place because I figured that I would be safe. I called this store to let them know that I am in isolation and that I would be there in a few minutes to pick up the food. The owner did not seem to care. She actually made me wait in front of the store for over 15 minutes. This is a store that caters to tourists. You put my life in danger. You promise to deliver, but that is not true. furthermore charging $35 for that cat food is a rip of

While I have shopped at Ecossentials for years, since the pandemic began, I have come to rely on online shopping. Ecossentials' new website makes online shopping easy and efficient and the variety of products is extensive. I've been picking up my orders and Melissa and her staff are always friendly and welcoming. Delivery is also available, for those who prefer that option. I really appreciate this local business for adjusting its service to the community when the pandemic hit and continuing to supply high quality organic products to their customers.

Love the lotions,sunscreens and whatnot .good variety. But the service isn't very good. I think that could hurt a business. lastime I was there I wanted to purchase many things and couldn't figure out the scale. They ignore us the whole time and went along with their meeting.i will go back because they carry the sunscreen we love but needs to be more friendly and client helpful.

One of my favourite places to shop. I love coming home to no packaging, with healthy food. The books, art materials, local craft are all top quality as well.
Also, very kind staff.
