I see a comment saying they came in and financially destroyed a persons family, same thing is happening to me right now. My social work Pirashini Pillay came in took my kids off false reports on me, 3 boys btw, and then once I was in a huge financial hole gave me the kids( no return to home date) so I’m not entitled to their child tax ( our income) and now my bills are months behind, they say they will pay them and don’t, the months the had my sons in foster and then with the people who made these false reports, I had to max out my emergency rainy day credit cards.
Now I’m in a huge financial hole and the credit I built over the years is gone. They have ruined mine and my children’s life, traumatized them for life, and are ignoring my phone calls, texts, and emails. Tired going to the complainants line and Ombudspersons and NOTHING has been done for months. The “good reviews” are 100% fake reviews put on by the institute.

Desirae Shellenburge is the Team leader and she is portraying the same behaviours as Priashini. Ingnoring, no response for weeks. And these are ladies in power over peoples lives.
Alison Hamalton is the Director above Desirae and she full out lied to me about a conversation I had with her begging for help, she lied on the second call a month later again begging for help she lied saying I said things to her and because she said so that’s what her story is.
Police investigated this whole thing and determined this is all false reporting.
But I was told by Desirae and Pria that they said the incident happened that it happened.
THIS IS NOT OKAY THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS

If I could do a negative star I would. They came to my family asking to take a child and did not disclose the danger they were putting us in. After receiving zero funding and reimbursement and completely destroying my stable family they got what they wanted.....a free foster family and another destroyed home knocking on the ministry door. Way to look after BC children and families. Shame on you
