The first time we went into the store this rather dapper “young” man introduced himself as Alan. I was in need of a walker and Alan went above and beyond with helping us find just the right height of one for me as I am a bit taller. We were also looking at wheelchairs so he made sure I knew what they had in stock and was able to put one on hold for me. When we went in today we met Nicole and Zane, owners of the store and their service was above and beyond. I shared some common ground with Nicole and it was lovely to just be able to share our experiences. I would not hesitate to recommend this store to anyone I know that has a need.

Went in to get fitted for compression socks. You could not find two more helpful, polite, and knowledgeable people. Got my socks on time as promised when we ordered them and it was perfect. I would not buy from anyone else. What a great experience.

I would highly recommend this store. Nicole was so helpful and friendly when I contacted her over the phone. I was trying to find a Stocking Aid Device for my Dad of which they did not have in, but she offered to look into it. She contacted me back to let me know that she was able to order the product I was looking for in. That CARING personality of hers made such a difference.

I had called a few other stores, and did not get this level of service.

I started shopping here when Peter owned the store, about 3-4 years ago. Nicole and Zain are the new owners and they are so friendly and helpful. There is a great selection of medical supplies in store, but if you need anything else then they will order it in for you. The items arrive at the store very quickly, I’m quite surprised. We are well passed the ‘Covid shut down days’ but most stores I still hear, “it might take a while for delivery due to covid.”
I feel I’m treated like a family member whenever I stop into the store. I very much appreciate having this business in our community.

I think people need to know that Peter, who was supremely efficient and professional, no longer runs this store. The new owners clearly do not have the expertise Peter had, and in fact seem not to care at all about their customers. In addition they have kept the photos of Peter, his son and their now dead pet on their website, which tells me they are trying to pretend he is still involved with the business, and therefore profit by the goodwill that he earned.
Avoid this store at all costs now. Totally unprofessional, unscrupulous new owner managers.

The new owners of Independent Lifestyle Medical Supply store in Maple Ridge, BC are always very helpful and have great personality. There’s a calming energy feeling when you’re in shopping. I would recommend anyone looking for medical items to visit this store, either for purchase or rental. You won’t be disappointed.

This store had a change in ownership and the service from the new owners is PHENOMENAL. They are knowledge and kind. Great spot to get what you need 🙂
