I completely understand the low reviews IH hires bodies not professionals. I spoke with Corinne today the receptionist at wound care inquiring information. I did NOT have the PHN readily available which should not be an issue as you can look up clients in other ways. I told Corinne 3 times I do not have it available they then asked for the name which tells me they could look it up with a name. Corinne then decides to scold me telling me that we should have the number available I then got frustrated because Corinne thought she can be rude but when I got frustrated they hung up (I recorded the conversation done with people who LIE) I told you 3 times I dont have it why did you say lets proceed and asked me for the clients name? Corinne then becomes a victim and said my tone was rude yes Corinne when you ask the same repeated ANSWERED question what will happen? Are you that miserable in your job? Its health care learn some professionalism or find a new job where you aren't speaking to people.

*In reference to counseling*
You only get so many sessions. I felt rushed and pressured into doing group counseling which I was uncomfortable with. I stated multiple times that I wasn't comfortable. And he even agreed to take things slow. But when it came down to it. All you feel is rushed, pushed, and unheard. I left feeling worse than when I reached out for help. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED!!! **Most definitely do not recommend**

Needs new receptionists. They are completely and utterly useless. Receptionist at the clinic that answered my call after I told her I couldn’t leave a message due to me being unable to take a call back from my attending psychiatrist for a number change around 12:16PM April 5th was very disrespectful and nasty. If there is any way I can file a complaint on her, I will be doing so as her attitude towards me was disgusting. People like that shouldn’t be in medical and should be fired.

I had the privilege of visiting the Kelowna Interior Health Authority for wound care following cancer surgery. The nurse that provided my wound care was respectful, trustworthy, excellent with verbal communication instructions and provided optimal quality care.
We are fortunate to have such dedicated health professionals assisting us with post surgery care. An enthusiastic two thumbs up.

If I could give zero stars I would! Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't interior health supposed to help people? Is that NOT THEIR JOB? I 100% understand "disclosure" rules etc but when the wife calls because spouse is out of service range and often works out of town, to have an urgent matter tended to, and they won't because there's no written consent! Written consent for what? I'm not asking for information, I'm trying to get him help because he can't call! Not everyone there is terrible but the one receptionist is definitely in the wrong profession! She's downright RUDE. I have been able to book appointments, have prescriptions renewed etc in the past without issue. I think you need to do some employee evaluations......
