I was here today and a middle aged native man was working. He was incredibly helpful, kind and soft spoken. Got the correct amount of money back. I’ll be honest I was putting off going here cause the last time I went was years ago and it was different guys working and I think owners as well and they were so rude!!!
Whoever is the gentleman they have now is amazing, 10/10.

The worker I had was rude, he tried to rip me off $25. I had to go back and ask for it, he proceeded to keep being rude, didn’t even apologize for the mistake and told me it was my fault. Still continued to rip me off after giving me the money owed. As I was walking back out of the store, he was saying how he’s not supposed to even be working there. Not sure what that’s all about. Better off taking your bottles to Cranny. Keep track of what they put into the machine and check your receipts people!!

Reopened now under new owners cleaned the place up good which it really needed. Unfortunately there is still something fishy going on here . Took my empties in this morning and pretty sure I was shorted 15$ . If I pay full deposit don't I get full deposit. If I take them to Cranbrook I get full back not in Invermere last time I will be back. Caution ⚠️ there thevies

So learned today that this bottle depot is not licensed for alcohol returns. So they buy your dozen beer for 1.00 for every dozen. That's 20 cents your being ripped off per dozen. Then they pay to take them in. They get full return and make a pretty penny... people should demand they post they are not a licensed alcohol return depot.

This bottle depot is from the stone age. No service at all...the customer does all the work of sorting and counting. Plus they don't pay you the proper amount of money for your returns. On top of all that they have the nerve to have a tip jar on the counter! Avoid this place!

I went there twice while on holidays. I separated my bottles and counted them twice because I had read reviews on this place. The girl at the counter counted them again and was putting them in buckets behind her. Impossible to recount. I got 10 returns less than I counted. But the worse part is that their cash machine is programmed for 5 cents per beer bottle instead of 10 cents. For me a $1.00 difference no big deal but when they pay customers 5cents per beer bottle instead of 10 cents over a month or a year it adds up for them. What a bunch of scammers.

Be careful of the old man. He skims money from your returns by not giving you what you deserved. Ensure you count and write down what you have brought down before you hand in the returns. Watch the screen for what you have returned and make sure you take the till receipt.

My kids took some bottles here and I observed from behind them but didn't like the way the staff was treating them. I estimate they received half of the value of the bottles that they worked hard at collecting so to see such poor customer service made it all the more dissapointing of an experience for all of us.
