I have used Keefer Clinic for several years and have had dozens interactions with support staff and medical professionals. I have been treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism in all my encounters. Support staff have consistently been prompt, efficient, and sympathetic. Physician care has been professional and proactive. Communication has been clear and my doctor takes time to explain issues, risks and potential outcomes.

Absolutely disgraceful….Dr. Wong is one the most rude, insensitive and dismissive medical professional I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting. There is zero compassion for humanity within her and in my opinion should not be allowed to interact with people, especially in sensitive vulnerable positions which often leads people into walk in clinics.
Not to mention, they don’t do walk ins, it’s appointment only and they make you have a phone call appointment first (which they bill and get paid for - similar to the Covid time setup when you needed to do phone appointments first) just to say you need to book a second in-person appointment but you can’t book that for another 24hours after the phone call cause they can’t bill for that second if it’s on the same day.
Anyways, if there is any way to have the business and staff investigated, I work in health care and I was shocked to interact with so many people (reception included, it wasn’t just Dr. Wong, there’s some toxic negative atmosphere in this place, prob seeping down from the awful doctors) with zero patience, kindness, consideration that people come to see doctors cause they’re concerned or upset or worried…. ZERO…. truly a disgrace of a medical practice. I’m not surprised by the endless bad reviews here.

Wow….the number of fake reviews and accounts to try to balance out their 1 star reviews is incredible. It’s fooling no one, please take caution going here. It’s the absolute worst clinic I’ve experienced anywhere.

The staff were very professional and polite when I walked in. My problem with this place is that its called a walk in clinic but "They're not taking any new patients" no matter what so... how is that a walk in clinic? Seems like false advertising.

I was lucky to find this clinic when I moved to Vancouver 3 years ago and have used it as my primary clinic ever since. I have met with several doctors and have found them all to be friendly, informative, punctual, and very thorough. They communicate well and keep me a part of the decision making process. I appreciate the online booking system and have found that I almost always get in at my appointment time or very close to it. This makes going to the doctor a simple process without having to take much time out of my day. I also love that they offer phone appointments, which many places stopped doing after COVID. Going to the doctor has never been easier! I highly recommend Keefer Medical Clinic and rely on them for my healthcare needs.

I saw Doctor Rose Wong about a skin lesion on my face I'd had for three weeks. She was extremely dismissive, said I'd been "messing with it" and that I was "looking for a quick fix" and she couldn't do anything. I had a hideous open wound on my face that wasn't healing and I had come to the doctor for help. I started crying in front of her so she referred me to a dermatologist. I never heard back from the dermatologist so weeks later I went to a different walk in where they took a swab and let me know I had a staph infection and started me on antibiotics right away. I found out which dermatologist I had been referred to and gave them a call. They let me know that they didn't deal with staph infections, only acne. What an invalidating and frustrating experience. In addition to permanent scarring on my face, I am left with the knowledge that I had open staph infections for weeks that I was oozing around with in the community. So preventable.

This is NOT a walk-in. In fact, they are not accepting new patients under any circumstances. They were kind enough to direct me to the nearest actual walk-in clinic at 188 Nelson St.

I booked an appointment two weeks ago to get blood work done and then I come into my appointment today to be treated so rudely and unprofessional.
She didn’t introduce herself she wouldn’t let me speak. I told her what brings me in. She told me that she can’t do that and then I asked her. Why was I booked in for disappointment? If you can’t help me, she gave me the runaround..

She said she could follow up, but then she wouldn’t be able to do anymore for me. She tossed me a piece of paper and walked out. I didn’t even know if my session had ended.
That and she said yes, and I told her how unprofessional and rude she was and she wanted respect patient and she give us some respect

My partner and his family has been going here for many years. He had an appointment to see a doctor this morning for 11:15am. When he arrived, he was told that they changed their policy *this morning* to only take walk-ins on mondays. He was not notified, called or emailed in any way. he had an appointment and received an appointment reminder yesterday. To have an appointment and be turned away with no warning is completely unacceptable.
