By far the worst experience I have had at a Kent location. Customer service is very rude and treats customer questions as an inconvenience.

As well, this location has let me down continuously with product availability vs what is showing for inventory on their website. I understand inventory systems are not 100% due to product shrink, but to be off countless times for a variety of products leads me to wonder why this morning information is even available to the public. Other businesses in the area lead in their website; even showing where exactly a product is on the shelf and you can't even get inventory correct.

Pretty awesome. The wood selection is good and the quality is solid. I go here over there competitors because they have airmiles. It really adds up if you're doing a home renovation. Take advantage.

Hands down the best Kent experience I have ever had. I was met in the yard by a gentleman who immediately asked me my needs, and was happy to help load up my lumber with me. The Kent's in moncton and dieppe could take a page from this one's playbook. I typically leave kent frustrated with service, and a lack of supplies i need, but this one was completely different. Good job Kent of Sussex!!

I bought a riding mower back in May. Keeps throwing a belt. Kent passes it off to a local company to fix and when the belt keeps coming off and the problem isn’t fixed it’s not their problem. Sorry call the manufacturer. I bought it from Kent’s not the manufacturer.
They should come with a sign on the tractors saying if it breaks don’t call us we do t care.I also emailed customer service regarding the lack of response.the reply I got was to contact the store. Terrible customer service all around.
I can’t stress enough don’t but anything mechanical or you will be left high and dry.

It took three tries to get the proper custom counter order. Both of the first two orders the counter was actually in the store but no one could find could find them. The first was the wrong depth. Vanity depth instead of kitchen counter depth.

It took months instead of the a month to get the correct one. I don't recall an apology and I certainly didn't get a discount for my troubles! Including multiple trips to the store from out of town, or having to load and unload counters four times.

One mistake, hey it happens. But having it in the store and can't find it? And hey, we'll call you back when we find it. Nope, let's order a third and we'll call you in 5 or 6 weeks...

This Sussex location has absolutely broken my faith in Kent. Not only would they refuse to price match with one of their own stores last week ($2999.99 on a $3699.99 tractor at the Fredericton South Kent on 06/04/22), but I eventually broke down and bought it full price on 06/09/22. Then I noticed on 06/11/22 that it was $200 cheaper ($3499.99) at the Sussex location, but when I called at 5:45pm on Saturday about the purchase I made in their own store TWO DAYS BEFORE, their manager on duty said to return to the store and they would refund the difference. I told her that I couldn't get there before close and she said that she would apply the refunded difference when I came to pick it up. They also said that after putting a hold on it that I had time to pick up my major purchase (the lawn tractor), but then called me on 06/10/22 to tell me that I had to come and pick it up right away and that they couldn't hold it. So I said the earliest I could do was Monday and asked if they would still honour the sale price and they said they would. They did not. So to recap: 1) They refused to price match another Kent store. 2) They went back on their word to allow us time to pick up the tractor. 3) They refused to price match their own store's sale price two days after a purchase. I told the manager that I would not be shopping at Kent anymore and she acted like she didn't believe me. Trust me... I'm never giving Kent another dollar. We'd had our Kent card for a exactly 30 days and racked up $7000 in purchases in that month, so it's not like this wouldn't have been a good relationship. I have a ~$5000 walkway and deck job coming up next month (July 2022) and Home Depot Canada is getting my money instead. Thanks, Sussex!
