We brought Tika, our Chihuahua, to see Dr. Ruth last August, 2024, when Tika took ill. X-rays and blood work revealed a pancreatic problem and she was put on meds. Soon Tika was starting to feel better and was brough back to good health in a few months. We could tell that Dr. Ruth has a love for animals and is an amazing Veterinarian.
We brought Tika back again a few days ago on February 13. 2025, a day before her 15th Birthday, for a different problem. We were able to get in on short notice and Dr. Ruth and her staff were amazing as usual. After x-rays and blood work, Dr. Ruth found the problem and Tika is now on meds for her present condition.
We have been coming to KRVS since 2021, and it is well worth the drive. We will continue coming to this clinic because they offer a great service for an excellent price where other clinics charge up to four times higher and low income Senior's can't afford that. We have recommended many of our friends to come here. Everyone that works at KRVS greets you with a smile and are so friendly, compassionate, and they genuinely love animals.

Our Kitty Kat Girl, Charlie Angel, who will be 14 years old in October is doing great after a few teeth were extracted and her gums and remaining teeth were thoroughly cleaned on August 10, 2023. She is eating more food comfortably and has gained 1/2 a pound already. Again we would like to thank our vet, Dr. Weston Gobbett, and his crew at Kettle River Veterinary
Services for a job well done on the dental procedure and care for our Charlie Angel.
Last year our 13 year old Chihuahua, Tika, had many teeth extractions done by Dr. Gobbett and is doing great. Well worth the trip to Grand Forks for their great service and fair prices. They do great work to keep our fury family in top condition. They scored a 5 of out of 5 stars review from us.

I respect this place so much for offering great services at reasonable prices. The castlegar area is in a shortage of vets and take advantage of this by charging over 4 times the price of Kettle River. I will keep driving over the mountain for Kettle River because they are worth it. Expert services delivered with compassion at an excellent price.

I drive from Nelson for this veterinary clinic. I've tried all the Nelson ones and have been extremely disappointed every time. But Kettle River has been a breeze! Tucker is happy to go, it seems they genuinely care about your pets and not just the money. I will continue to go here with my future pets as well! Very grateful my friend recommended them

I got my new kitten fixed + his vaccine and had a great experience with this clinic. Very kind and experienced establishment 👍
