Had my Husband Doug at Urgent Care - Langley yesterday afternoon. Can’t say enough about the amazing Staff. The Nurses are amazing kind - compassionate. They ended up calling an Ambulance we went to LMH - thinking heart. After 7 hours Doug was diagnosed with pneumonia. He’s doing good home now on antibiotics. Please thank all your Staff for their amazing care. We both really appreciate them. 🙂

I recently called for availability at Langley Urgent Care Clinic about an ankle injury, hoping to avoid the Emergency Room given the current strains on the medical system and the non-emergent nature. I was quite disappointed with the guidance I received. The nurse I spoke with advised me to go to a walk-in clinic to get a referral for outpatient tests, stating, "not everything has to come here." My spouse, who is a hospital nurse, was listening to the conversation and was also quite surprised by this response. While I understand the pressures healthcare providers are under, I believe it's important for clinics like this to offer more direct and helpful guidance, especially when patients are actively trying to utilize appropriate levels of care.

I have a hiking-related knee injury. The nurse there was kind, knowledgeable and took the time to listen and address my symptoms. The waiting room is clean, new and all staff were really friendly. Overall an easy process, great experience.

Just want to share our positive experience today at the Langley Urgent and Primary Care today: both the nurse at the triage and the practitioner who called my daughter over the phone are very professional and friendly. The doctor spent 20+ minutes to go through all the details with my daughter to make sure that every aspect of her fever is addressed. The facility is clean and new, and the receptionist lady has a smile on her face. Thank you Fraser Health for the improved service which defies many of the comments below.

In the past 2 weeks I have gone for a couple of infections. Never any doctor on site no matter what time I went.

1st time - I went in the morning was 14th in line yet every one who came after me went before me. They say they triage by priority yet someone who needs antibiotics is less of a priority than people who experience a stiff neck and sweating the bed... I don't understand this. When I finally saw the nurse she took my blood pressure and temperature that was it. She asked me to come back again so what exactly was I waiting for all this time? Couldn't I have just booked the appointmentin on the phone I couldn't return due to an exam so she just sent me packing without offering another appointment.

2nd time - I again when in the morning this time being 2nd in line and again was made to wait longer than usual. It was a different nurse at least she gave me a different walk in clinic where I could get the antibiotics I desperately needed.

3rd time - I went in the evening regarding a different infection there was no one there still waited about 15 mins spoke to the same nurse as the first time. Again all she did was take my blood pressure and temperature and told me to follow up with the first clinic. She did not tell me anything about my actual infection.

Seems like they are just getting paid to sit around and pretend they are servicing the community but really doing nothing....

No wonder people keep flocking to the ER for non emergency related issues....

I called in earlier yesterday regarding several symptoms and they informed me I’d get a call back in a few hours regarding if I’d be able to come in; not 5 minutes later a got a very nice call informing me I could get in at 7. Normally with clinics you get told one time and it’s 3 hours after that time, but I showed up last night at 6:45 and they got me in then and there. Reception was lovely, parking was free, the environment was clean and new and there were 0 complications. I wish I got the name of the doctor who helped me last night as she was wonderful: I’m aware I can be irritating at times with my scepticism and questions, but she was there every step of the way, answering every question and not once making me feel rushed, kindly and calmly providing me her exact thoughts and why. The “diagnosis” we ended up with still had me confused initially as in my head it didn’t match my symptoms from prior perceived knowledge, but given her knowledge and confidence, I took the advice to heart. It’s been less than 24 hours since that visit and already 75% of my symptoms have subsided, absolutely incredible! To that doctor: if you see this and recognize my name, thank you so much for your time!

Very dismissive nurse. Had clinical impression with just 2 questions and would cut me off when I tried explaining more symptoms, as if not open to acquiring more data. Told to leave and manage symptoms and if not feeling better to come back to see doctor. At this point I have already been sick for about a month. Had fever, night sweats. Felt better for few days and now getting worse again. I went in AM and I visibly present well in the morning and have extreme fatigue and sweats midday to evening. Tried explaining this but was being cut off. I am also a nurse though I did not mention to keep a more patient-clinician dynamic. Lectured me about rest, hydration, etc and sent me away.

We had a great experience at the clinic. Dr. W and all the staff and nurses were kind, professional, and attentive. They took excellent care of my child during an allergic reaction, explained everything clearly, and walked us through the next steps. You can feel confident that you’re in good hands here.
