Becoming a patient at Lifespan Medical has been life changing for me. I travel to North Vancouver from Vancouver Island specifically for this group of professionals !! From my very first intake phone call, to walking through the doors for my first day of testing, every interaction with ALL the staff in this clinic has been exceptional. I was desperate to find a medical team to listen to my concerns, and have them take action to help me to feel my best. I have never felt more heard in a medical setting, and am finally on my way to becoming the healthiest version of me. I have been in the clinic 3 times now for various appointments, as well as several phone appointments, and each time it has been a wonderful experience. I've never felt more calm and safe when dealing with my health, and I am so happy to be on this journey with Lifespan. I can't recommend this clinic enough !!

The preventative health assessment was very comprehensive. A full ultrasound of my carotid and organs and blood work revealed no tumors and low risk for heart disease and stroke, but it was the bone density mapping that was most reassuring. This is the way to catch anything wrong before the symptoms lay you low. Not only great value for peace of mind but the follow up appointment with Dr. Stock answered many of my concerns and questions about staying healthy into my late 50s.

Like so many people, I took my health for granted for years. I have a wonderful (but busy) GP and generally approached my health with the attitude "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". This all changed when I turned 50 and, in quick succession, lost several close friends to illnesses diagnosed too late.

I decided to take a more proactive and preventative approach to my own health and reached out to Lifespan. I had no particular concerns, but given recent losses, I wanted to establish a baseline going forward. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made.

The assessments and screenings were thorough and state-of-the-art. The staff and physicians are so, so responsive and the entire process felt seamless and well-coordinated. From the initial telephone intake to the full assessment and follow-up, I knew I was in good hands.

In my case, Lifespan's physicians caught a real humdinger of an issue with my heart. Unbeknownst to me (and my GP), I was born with a congenital heart defect that has subsequently manifested in potentially life-threatening valve dysfunction. At 52 years old, active and asymptomatic, this was a big surprise. Thanks to Lifespan, I'm now being monitored regularly by a cardiologist to ensure that the condition remains stable - a far better alternative than a trip to the ER down the road. Knowledge is power and now, I know.

I am so grateful to Dr. Stock and everyone at Lifespan Medical for their preventative and personalized approach to healthcare. It's an investment for sure, but one that has already paid dividends for my family and me. As they say, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".

I recently became a patient of Lifespan to explore other options to help with my longstanding autoimmune issues that I have battled with for years with no diagnosis or relief in sight and was tired of getting no answers.

I am happy to report that for the first time in YEARS as if by some miracle , my condition has improved so much so that I no longer struggle like I once did. I followed their recommended advice and by about 4 months in , I am now off all my previously prescribed horrible meds that never helped at all. It's the first time in ages that I feel like my old self again.

This new clinic exceeded all my expectations for quality healthcare right from the moment I stepped in. It was everything I had been searching for. The whole team took the time to listen to my concerns and provide explanations about my health. Their approach combines the top notch professionalism with genuine compassion to which I have not experienced before. I was so impressed by how they tailored the care plan specifically to my needs.
