I had a great experience here. Very few people. Usually I am alone at the waiting area. It’s a cozy feeling. They always call me one day before the appointment to remind me. I was always seen by two doctors together. I feel my life has been greatly improved after visiting here.

If you need help now, I would recommend going elsewhere.

The people were nice enough but these people are still thinking in time and willing to waste months of yours.

When I was finally able to speak to a psychiatrist they were prepared to put me in the wrong box from minute one, admitted to asking the wrong questions and would seldomly make any eye contact with me.

They also don't seem to understand accountability within trauma and we're focused on isolated one-off incidents.

If you want to know what your problems are or how to get help with them, this is not the place to go.

Someone could be begging for help at this person's doorstep and he would turn them away rudely.

Imagine people like this working In mental health.

People like this are why nothing gets solved in this industry.

Only a matter of time before someone dies under his care.

If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and work with someone who actually cares about others.

This man, in spite of all his education doesn't have a functioning heart.

And we should be ashamed this person even has a job helping others.

I had a loved one who recently had a lengthy stay at this facility (IPU 2). This was my brothers first admission at a psychiatric hospital and he described his experience as a life changing experience. I have never met such hardworking, and down to earth group of staff who went above and beyond to help my brother. I cant thank them enough for everything they did for him. Incredible team of people who work at this building from the unit clerk, to the social worker, to the doctors and nurses!

Very caring and knowledgeable people work in the new west rapid access clinic! The best part is speed in consultation.. In one day , you will be assessed and consulted and get advise on what will help ! They will see you for follow up appointments! Long term…… I am not sure. We are not there yet! Thank you staff!

Had the most caring, sweetest and amazing nurses/doctors when i got admitted for suicidal ideation, I don’t get why people are so ungrateful here. They’re doing their best and rest of you who needs help are complaining when there are staff shortages, unbelievable

My usual OAT doctor close to home suddenly passed away recently and Royal Columbian OAT took over most of his patients, it's a little far from home but the doctor I'm seeing Dr Trapani (sorry if I spelt that wrong)
Has been really great, super helpful and actually cares about you and will listen to what you have to say and treats you like a human being unlike many other clinics that just want to see as many patients as possible as quickly as possible and call it a day.
Very happy coming here and willing to recommend to anyone else looking for an OAT clinic

DR Casey , She doesn't believe anything the patient says. She believes false reports from other staff members and uses confirmation bias as a framework for making her diagnosis.
