We are new to the area and came in today with an acute allergic reaction that clearly needed urgent medical attention. Neither receptionist looked up from their computers to assist and both were trying to get the other to speak to us. Then they just said we cannot help you, go to the hospital. They didn't even check with a Dr. if we needed urgent help or for someone to call 911. Absolutely shocking!!

Fire the receptionist. 0 people skills. I was just asking for help and she was pessimistic and demeaning. Not helpful at all. I asked her how she was doing, she did not respond so I asked again. 0 response. Just a cold blank stare. A smile goes a long way. I would include the date and time I was in but I’m sure the staff are well aware who this is.

Giving this clinic a 1 star is overstating my experience with them. I tried to get an appointment in the clinic but even getting a proper conversation with the receptionist is too much to ask for them. The receptionist was extremely rude and would give snappy and short replies.

I understand if there’s a shortage in doctors that an appointment is hard to get but at least provide a decent customer service experience for people just wanting to get more information.

Had a great experience here. The Doctor Oosthuizen was quick and professional and handled my son gently and with care. Explained everything he was going to do before he did it so there was no surprises. Been here twice with my son and both time had a very minimal waiting period if I even had to wait. Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. Thanks for your service.

The first time i went into this place it was fine the second time was terrible. I went in to treat a small skin tag on my face they could have easily cut it off and put a stick in it but the doctor wanted to treat it with liquid nitrogen. Long story short my eye lid is swollen to the point i cant see out of it and the skin tag is still on my face. Do not go here

I Went to this clinic to get my first ftm Testosterone shot. The receptionist was really nice and made me feel comfortable & safe in the environment, that was until I actually met the doctor. Not only did he give me my inter-muscular injection super close to the bone, but he also aggressively stabbed the needle into my body, and left me bruised for 3+ days. Not only was that bad enough, but he then continued to misgender me for the rest of the appointment. I can't remember his name but he was bald aha, the only Doctor I'd recommend at this clinic is Peter Samcoe. But I'm definitely not going back there if I'm seeing anyone other than him. I unfortunately had an awful experience.

As a patient of a doctor at the Millstream Clinic I was very surprised to find out that the Drs are no longer taking appointments but patients have to do the walk in as do others that don't have a regular doctor at this clinic. This clinic has been poorly run from the day it opened. I might need to go to the clinic 3 or 4 times a year and 75% of the time when I do drop by as a walk in it is closed or they haven't been able to staff the clinic with Dr's. This last time I tried to book an appointment and was told I couldn't but I could come in when my Dr was working and sit and wait to see if I could get in. When the Dr works 12 hours a week chances of getting in are slim ... and I do not have time to keep going in and wait on the chance I can get in. This is unacceptable for the public. The best thing this clinic could do is shut down, let the Dr's go and work in another clinic as walk in Dr's and give the public a break. I agree with a previous commenter, go to Colwood Corners or St Anthony's if you need treatment. After a month of trying to get in I was lucky enough to have a Dr at the Yates street clinic agree to see me ... Thanks to Dr. Nelson at the Yates street clinic, she was amazing!!!

walked in to have immunization updated and immunization form signed as school requirement. Clerk/office assistant said that the doctor can't sign it. explained to clerk that it is school requirement and the doctor can actually order a quantitative lab work to determine my immunity. Clerk insisted that there is no such lab work and the doctor can't do that. She said that "you can wait but you are just wasting your time." I went to another clinic and they have accommodated me. The doctor ordered lab work, assessed and signed my school form. It was a terrible experience going there to Millstream Medical Clinic. I don't think the clerks have knowledge on their doctors' scope pf practice that they can determine what their doctors can do and/or can't do. Don't go here. She's right- you're just wasting your time.
