Extremely rude and unprofessional desk staff: receptionist was rude and blunt on the phone when booking my appointment, being impatient, snippy, and sarcastic while I asked for details.

Despite that, I still booked an appointment, and when I arrived for it they told me they never put it in the schedule. Complete waste of my time, and very discouraging, considering I am trying to start taking care of my teeth after years of neglect.

Never going back to minocha, and even if you wanted to, they are completely booked up, and you will be treated poorly by reception staff because of it.

I researched extensively before choosing a dentist because of quite severe dental anxiety. I chose Minocha Mckenney because of the good reviews I found online, so I think it's important that I chime in.
Dr. Minocha immediately put me at ease as soon as she walked in the room. After a short consult and a rx., she referred me to Dr. Mckenney for a root canal. Dr. Mckenney was incredibly sensitive to my dental anxiety. He explained everything at length, made me feel in control, and stopped immediately if I was uncomfortable at all. He took his time in order to make sure I was completely frozen and checked in with me constantly.
My over-all experience was excellent. I can't recommend Dr. Minocha and Dr. Mckenney highly enough!!

I had an emergency dental assessment today with Dr. Rick McKenney. I am so pleased and grateful for the care I received - starting with the desk staff when I called and asked for help right to when I walked out the door with a plan in place. I have had the same dentist in Toronto for about 25 years, and I felt as safe with Dr. Rick as I do with her. I've had two experiences at this dentist. Both were more than I could have imagined. Extremely professional and helpful staff who seem to have the patients as a priority. As someone who has not seen a dentist in over 15 years it could not have been a more positive experience, from the front desk into the back room was as pleasant as having a tooth pulled could be. Just have to say how pleased I have been with the service from this dentist over the years. If you don’t like needles, you should go to Dr. Rick. His technique minimizes the discomfort. A couple times over the past few years when in for something minor, they did not even charge me. Down to earth and easy-going. All the staff is great.

We moved permanently to the Amherst area early this month. I had dental work scheduled in Ontario prior to that move, including a planned extraction. That appointment had to be cancelled; so I discovered Minocha-Mckenney Dental in the phone book and made an appointment. I was seen first by Dr. Rachna Minocha who completed an examination and made treatment suggestions. She pointed out that the extraction could present problems because of my bone density. Dr. Minocha asked her partner and husband, Dr. Rick McKenney, to consult. It was eventually agreed by all that we would schedule a root canal to be done by Dr. Mckenney. That work was completed this week and I couldn't be happier.
I am in my sixties and have seen my share of dentists over the years. Rachna and Rick just shot to the head of my "top ten" list. Warm, welcoming and genuinely concerned about patients getting the treatment that suits their circumstances, I felt comfortable immediately with both of these professionals, as I did an instant bond forming among us.
I recommend Minocha-Mckenney Dental without the slightest reservation. Give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

I am 35 years old, and have been going to Minocha/McKenny my entire life. Though there was a large gap for many years these individuals treat me with great respect, comfort and do upstanding work. The reception staff are amazing as well as all other staff within the building. Couldn't ask for better professionals in this scenario.
