My experience with Modern Windows in Powell River was beyond exceptional!!! From the first phone call I made to the to inquire about sliding doors and closet doors and then later on not knowing it my front door handle. Their customer service is so warm and inviting its like talking to an old friend. When the gentleman came to my house to do an assessment he was very understanding and very knowledgeable and he knew what the other department knew too. I like this a lot because a lot of the times when you deal with a business an employee only knows their area or their department and you have to be transferred or go to another person or area to find out an answer to another question you have. With Modern Windows I found everyone was knowledgeable in all areas and I didn't get the run around at all and all my questions were answered by the same person at the same spot at the same time. At Modern they are very punctual as it didn't take long to get my estimate and I also got a date for my installation and they ended up calling me and asked if they could come sooner as the day they booked me on they found out it was going to rain. What outstanding service! Of course I let them come early. The two guys that did the installation were fabulous and did an outstanding job. I am very satisfied with my new doors and my fixed door. One of the guys who came noticed the lever on my front door and he tried to fix it and I asked him if he thinks I need a new door and he was honest with me and said no and that I just need a new lever. He was fantastic just like the guy that did my estimate as both could of said I needed new doors and they both said I just need it fixed. Now that is being about the customer and exceptional customer service 👏! So then I ended up getting the front door lever from them and for them to come and install it. So if you or anyone you know are in the market for Windows or doors make sure you go to Modern Windows as they are exceptional and you won't be disappointed 😉!

We had Modern windows come 2 months ago and remove a sliding door were they replaced it with a window. They also replaced 2 large windows. it was a very pleasant experience starting from the salesman, to the office staff and the installers, Ron and Josh. We have 10 more windows to replace and Modern will be the first place we will call.

In a busy construction climate, Modern took my concern of a broken garage door spring and responded as if I was there only customer. They were in my garage the next day, provided a quote and ordered the part. The repair was completed the same week. Great people and excellent quality of work. Modern windows replaced 4 old aluminum framed single paned windows with double paned Reno windows. Drew, the installer, and his assistant were very professional, friendly, answered all my questions in detail and cleaned up after they were done. We were expecting to have 2 new windows replaced. But when James came to look, he said that only new hardware was required. The windows were in good shape and a small amount of money would be needed to repair them, (less than $150.) We were happy it did not cost us thousands of dollars. The service was fast too. Modern Windows did an amazing job in selling and installing a 60 feet glass railing on my beach cabin. Regardless of the install being located on Savary Island, which is pretty complicated and a remote, Dan's entire team was awesome. They were on-time, polite and professional all the way thru. From my first call to get a quote to my last call to confirm warranty, all was smooth and cordial. It was the best experience I've had in a long time in the area. I absolutely recommend them. The most important factor for me was their transparency and willingness to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. It seems simple, but in reality its hard to find great professionals that care. They have earned a customer for life. 🙂
