I had such an amazing experience with Monk Office, even though I wasn’t the one shopping there directly! A friend bought me a beautiful deep sea-colored hardcover notebook from their 905 Fort Street location as a gift while I was recovering from surgery. Not only was it the perfect gift for journaling my healing journey, but on the day of purchase, Monk Office was offering complimentary embossing with that notebook and they personalized it with my name in stunning gold lettering.

That extra touch completely made my day. In a time when so many businesses are scaling back on extras and customer perks, Monk Office went above and beyond to create a memorable and meaningful experience. I didn’t know much about them before, but after looking them up, I was so impressed to learn they’re a family-owned local business with a core value of “Creating Amazing Customer Experiences.” They’re absolutely living up to that promise.

I’m now the proud owner of a high-quality, personalized notebook that makes me feel special every time I open it. I’m so grateful to Monk Office for offering such thoughtful touches that turn a simple purchase into something extraordinary. Highly recommend!

First time visiting this store, and was not welcomed warmly. I walked in and approached the front desk where I happily said “hello!”, and the lady just stared at me blankly. Not a single word, no facial expression. Just awkward. I told her I was there to pick a print up, and she let me know where to go. Bluntly, but was helpful. The lady at the print desk was very friendly though which helped.

I was looking for scanning or photocopying of sensitive written material approximately 1500 pages. Joe at the scanning/photocopying desk thought he could have it done by end of week and it would cost approximately $500.00. There was some repair to paper that was needed. He agreed to do it. This smallish but important project was done the next day for under $200.00. Joe was kind and reassuring to me during these transactions. I had been in contact with 2 other companies. Both had minimum payments of $ 2000.00 and $ 1000.00 respectfully. Neither company could give me the name of a company that could do this smaller job. I so appreciate this Victoria company and the kind, efficient service I got from Joe and other members of staff. I left my cell phone behind by mistake and when I returned at 5:00 pm ISH, a kind staff member got off his bike, went back into the closed up store and retrieved my cell phone there and then. THANK YOU.

Cartoonishly overpriced. I was able to find everything I bought at the store online for a fraction of the price. Sales person, (the taller one with glass)was mediocre, gave me bad information ( wanted me to buy a $80 30lb easel instead of just using the Buddha board for thin canvas stand). Pushed the most expensive product. When I came back to return the (50$ 5 tubes of paint), since it was close to closing time instead of taking the return he talked me down. Then to top it off, after spending close to $200 at the store, the same sales person I had just dealt with refused to acknowledge me once we were outside the store. Mind you this was 3 minutes after. Very pretentious. Will never recommend. I cross referenced the inkjet cartridges with other stores and yes, these guys are price gaugers. $43.40 black inkjet cartridge at London Drugs - the same model- $85 at this store.

I get a lot of large print jobs done here for my work, and Karly in the print shop (Fort Copy) always delivers super quickly and is very friendly and helpful. Pricing is competitive and the quality is excellent.

Within this business, are those who genuinely care about everything they do! I've had positive dealings with Craig, Kim and especially Lindsey. From the beginning, Lindsey has always communicated in a positive manner. He has been helpful and reassuring, in the process of book printing!
