Our youngest daughter went to the urgent care clinic because she has been without a bloody doctor for several years. She was unable to open her jaw completely so went to get some medical help. I don’t remember the exact words she said that he said but it was something like “would you like me to perform some magic on it?”. She was sent away flabbergasted with no plan, just wasted an hour of her time, gas to get there and paid parking. Might be time to retire Bruce…

Rude attitude. I picked up pretty fast that he was color blind and was giving me bad info. The clinic called me to come in...big waste of my time, I never did find out why. The ladies at the desk were nice but I will never set foot in there again if there is even a remote probability that Newmarch is there!

Dr. Newmarch almost killed my son! He has been suffering with severe pain in his lower right side for weeks. I suspected it was diverticulitis as his symptoms are the same as mine. He went to the walk-in clinic a few weeks ago, they sent him home telling him it was just a flu bug. Over a week ago he went to emergency and saw Dr. Newmarch who said he just had an intestinal bug and sent him home. He also made rude comments about his weight, and ridiculed him for having his "daddy" with him. My son told Dr. Newmarch that his mom had diverticulitis and his symptoms were the same. He ignored this. His pain got worse over the course of the week, he went back to emergency on Sunday in severe pain. He didn't want to go because of Dr. Newmarch's behavior. This time he had a CAT scan which revealed diverticulitis and a big abscess that had ruptured. He is lucky to be alive. Peritonitis is a killer. They admitted him and hooked him to an IV. He is still having antibiotics and morphine pumped into him. The surgeon decided not to do surgery at the moment but are keeping him there and watching him closely. I will be complaining to the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Newmarch is a dangerous man. He should not be practicing medicine. We will be seeing a lawyer.

Dr. Newmarch almost killed my husband 10 years ago. Why is he still a practicing physician He was the head of emergency that night at RIH. My hubbys bowel perforated and he just let him sit all night. He ended up in a 8 day coma and almost died.

What an obnoxious, rude and arrogant person - I hesitate to call him "Dr."
I'm not surprised at the number of negative reviews of this man. He needs to have Senior Hospital Administration review his performance and treatment of patients.

The receptionist is seriously Bi-polar and can go from being overly nice to a total wench Seriously, not professional, please get some help. Lots of help. Maybe see a doctor. Hopefully, when booking your appointment you will see how professional people conduct themselves.

I have dealt with Dr. Newmarch a few times in the hospital and walk in clinic. He was very helpful and took the time to go through my medical charts prior to the appointment.
