Since they changed the practice name I’ll put my review on the new establishment: unfortunately I tried counselling with Lisa Klco and was going through a tough time when my sister-in-law passed away. Was told by Lisa that she was going to email me a couple times while I was out of town at her wake and I never heard from her again. At that point in my life I was too discouraged and anxious to reach out myself. I now have better support but this experience, though it was a couple years ago, still haunts me when I’m needing a new mental health support worker (therapists, psychologists etc.) it wasn’t a comfortable environment to be in, I felt judged a lot and now that I’ve had a chance to see how other places operate I don’t know how I ever went back after my first appointment. I’m glad other people have found a match in this place but for someone with BPD and childhood trauma, this was not a good fit.
