I was quoted for having 11 cavities.

When I got 3 filled, it cost me over the quoted price, for which a very poor explanation was given. I was then informed all the other procedures were misquotes and would cost more than the initial quote. One of the fillings is was not done properly and caused excruciating pain which led me to another dentist to have the work fixed.

This dentist informed me I had no cavities that needed filling, and was very confused by my diagnosis of having 11 cavities.

I went to a third dentist for his opinion, and he agreed I had no cavities that needed filling, just one that was starting to develop but didn't need work.

I've since gone to a fourth dentist today, and was once again told that I had no cavities that needed work.

So in summation, I was charged more than my quoted price to be given a procedure that was infective, and likely completely unnecessary. 3 other dentists agreed that no work was needed.

I would recommend the Selkirk Dental Center for a much more professional and helpful and honest experience if seeking a dentist in Revelstoke.

Had a tooth pulled and they recommended full examination,.. which is only covered once every 5 years with benefits and I did not know that,… so they called and charged me for it about a month after my appointment was done saying I had to pay for it cause my benefits wouldn’t cover it,… well they should have charged me for it while I was there and had a source of income as I’m laid off now and they are sending things to collections,… real nice, thanks a lot guys ,.. real glad I chose to step foot in here. Like what am I supposed to do pull the money out of my ass?

Helped me out over the long weekend to get started with medication, for a very painful tooth. Got me in Tuesday morning and did a great job freezing, I never felt a thing as he removed the infection. The pain went away immediately and my bite down felt perfect after.

Came in first thing in the morning in the most pain I've experienced in my life. Tried the emergency number the day before, got no response. Went to the clinic first thing in the morning, front desk I felt 0 compassion..came up crickets..suggested I go up the block after rejected and only after I asked what can I do..got great care there, just as busy but fit me and made it work . My suggestion...try and remember just how painful a dental emergency can be please and work from there...

Showed up to this Dentist office yesterday at closing time with my girlfriend who was hysterical due to pain in her mouth aswell as other conditions. The staff was nothing but kind and did everything they could to help us. This office goes above and beyond to help people even if they are not clients
