Excellent service at the Langford Rona today. I needed some items for a project, and a nice gentleman named Wayne was super helpful and friendly in assisting me. Apologized profusely for being out of stock of the lag bolts I needed, something that's probably not even in his control. Wayne is a real star.
Louella in the lumber yard checkout was also very nice,and very helpful. Thanks, Louella!
No assistance out in the lumber yard, though. A young employee was working nearby, but never asked if I needed any help. I knew what I wanted and where it was, so it wasn't an issue for me, but it might be for others.
All in all, a great experience today.

We recently purchased a refrigerator from Rona. Our purchasing experience was excellent. Debra in appliances was great. She’s very easy to deal with and answered all our questions without hesitation. The delivery was quick and seamless. And, the fridge is working very nicely. Thank you.

Lady at the till was rude, I tried to make small talk and she responded very poorly. She was working at 6:30pm today. Only one operating a til. Don't get a job in customer service if you are a prick to customers. This is why people go to self checkouts and you wont have a job soon. Yes I am better than you, yes your job sucks.

I had a range of levels of service today from Langford Store staff, who I approached for assistance with finding the items I was looking for. Overall though, it was good... especially with one of the fellows at the contractors desk... even though I'm not a contractor.

2022-12-21 UPDATE: I needed to purchase steel flatbar and angle iron... so I did some comparison shopping. HomeDepot had the best pricing with decent selection. Lowes had the best selection but pricing was just a bit higher than HomeDepot. CanadianTire had the least amount of selection and the highest prices.

I went to home Depot to buy a lightbulb and I couldn't find any help for like 30 minutes.
I got so frustrated I left.
My father-in-law recommended Lowe's home improvement. The moment I walked in I got help right away. I tried a few more times and I got the same help everytime.
I can't believe I didn't know about this amazing place.
You have a customer for life.

Really wish management would put an end to the non stop alarm that is very annoying across the street in residential area! Maybe you could figure something better out! No one is going to pay attention to if there actually is something going on such as an emergency since, It goes off way too often please put a stop to the continual noise!

I purchased $700 worth of lumber delivered to my house. Several pieces were poor quality and had deep gouges in the wood, which I had to get exchanged. Unfortunately, I missed one 10-foot 4x6 that was twisted; no amount of sanding would get it to sit flat. I had to cut it to load in my car and drive for 30 minutes to Rona Langford.

ASM Peter was unsympathetic and refused to help exchange one $35 piece of wood after I had spent $700, suggesting they couldn’t resell since I had cut. I explained that you cannot ethically resell it anyway since it’s twisted. ASM Peter did offer to help load the piece back into my car, which I declined.

Lesson learned: If I want quality lumber, do not buy from Rona!
