Given a time for an appointment then have to wait an extended period of time (up to an hour) to begin. If they were delayed by an hour they should communicate it. If they are short doctors they should communicate it. It works for retired people who don't have as much going on, however giving false information to other people on the start time of their appointment screws up their entire days schedule.

Very disappointing consult with a DR. on Friday, who informed me that the Clinic was in fact an urgent care centre, under the auspices of Island Heath and therefore I could not have any blood work done as I apparently have no immediate medical concerns that warrant that. I went in with a bad case of hives (the Dr. never even looked at my back) and as I had recently had a long bout with Covid and then a month later another problem with congestion and chronic coughing I want to have blood work done to see if my immune system needs attention or if there might be something else that is a problem. I have been to the clinic before and I have never been told that it was an urgent care clinic and their signage and this site advertises it as a "walk in medical clinic" The staff is wonderful, this Dr. I interacted with was not.

I have been to this clinic about 4 times over the last couple of years. Sometimes the wait is long, but hey, it is walk in clinic. I have had been attended to by four different doctors, and they were all competent and thorough. The front end staff were friendly and efficient. Dr T may be short on bed side manner (she was fine with me) but her medical attention was exactly what I needed - to the point and on point. Dr Steward is about as good as they come, outstanding in my book.

You have to come before they open at 8am to avoid the line up. The wait time was not very long. I came only for my shingles shot. The attending Doctor was very nice. He made me feel comfortable when he did the shot. It could’ve been worse as I was so terrified of needles. The receptionist was busy but very friendly and accommodating. It’s a pretty busy location as expected.

I had a horrible experience at this clinic today. After waiting 2.5 hrs, the doctor told me that she didn't want to treat me as I lived outside the clinic's 'catchment'. The receptionist never told me that this was an issue (I'm only slightly closer to other clinics), but the doctor said the clinic should only be used by elderly patients who have to walk there and cannot drive. She was extremely rude - didn't even introduce herself - and was obviously having a bad day. I understand that policies need to be adhered to, but I would have greatly appreciated being told this before waiting, or perhaps just a recommendation as to how to proceed, as she said my back pain was too complicated for her to handle. The kicker is that in February of this year, this exact doctor told me to keep coming to the same clinic to build up a file with them, as I don't have a family doctor. Really inexcusable and unprofessional treatment. I'd give no stars, but that's not an option.

The front office staff were very friendly and helpful. Waited 10 minutes before seeing the doctor. She listened to me and immediately said I needed to see an orthopaedic specialist and did a referral. She took time to explain to me why and how to handle my condition now.
I was very impressed.

After reading the reviews, I’m almost hesitant to give my positive review. My husband and I visited this office for the first time yesterday. The receptionist was very friendly. We waited 40 minutes or so. Unlike the other negative reviews, we saw a male doctor (I wish I had caught his name) who i thought was warm, and knowledgeable. Purely from other reviews of the woman doctor, I don’t think I would return. But we had a fine experience. They do have a sign up stating that they want to focus on treating ppl in their catchment area, but they still accepted us even though we are not.

The wait time was decent the day I went in. Receptionist was happy and helpful. The doctor was fairly uninterested in my issues and made me feel like I was wasting her time seeking treating.

The real issue I have though, is that they don't seem capable of answering their phone. My work hours don't give me the option to get in to the clinic for my test results so calling is my only option. Been calling everyday for a week, no dice.

Not really sure what to do...
