My doctor retired in December and I needed a new one to assist me with some urgent care needs. SantiMed came up in my search for nearby clinics accepting patients.

Dr. Botha accepted me as a new patient and I've met with him several times in the past 1.5 months. At every appointment, he has been highly knowledgeable, kind, and supportive (also punctual!). He has made a difficult time so much easier, which has made a huge difference in my recovery.

The clinic itself is clean and well-maintained.

The support staff are all lovely and helpful.

Parking is free when you register your license plate at the front desk.

Was recommended Dr Hana by another doctor however my partner and I will not be coming back to this clinic.

Our first appointment with her was good, however the nurse was the one that actually wanted to listen to our health concerns and actually take a look at what was going on.

I came in for another appointment and the same nurse again was the one that was empathetic. I again brought up my same issue and Dr Hana gave me another prescription without even taking a look.

Came back again for my results and was still having the same issue, yet again she didn’t even take a look and prescribed me another medication without taking the time to even see what was going on or even ask me questions. Gave me another prescription and was out the door before I could even ask my questions.

They book way too many people. Every time I’ve been there the wait room is overcrowded. They get you into the room fast, but then sometimes it still just a wait in the examination room. They are usually running behind and then doesn’t even give you the time of day to share your health concerns before she is out the door.

I called the office and the receptionist was a bit rude and made me feel like an inconvenience for asking a simple question.

Please turn down the heat, it's horrible how hot it is here. The place is full and the people sweat and sweat . And they should bring another doctor who speaks Spanish because someone has an emergency and wants to speak in their language and it turns out that the doctor no longer sees patients only with appointments and the appointments are 5 months away!! I have been with my family doctor here for 10 years and it is very sad to see that you get another doctor that is not yours.

A Warning to All Patients: Avoid This Clinic at All Costs

I cannot stress enough how poorly this clinic is run and how dangerous the care (or lack thereof) can be. My experience as a pregnant patient was not only frustrating but downright alarming. This clinic and its staff failed me at every turn, showing a complete disregard for my health and the health of my baby.

First, even with an appointment, the wait times are unbearable. The waiting room is tiny, stuffy, and lacks any air circulation—making it hard to breathe, especially during pregnancy. It’s clear they’ve put no thought into patient comfort or safety.

When I learned I was pregnant, I immediately tried to book an appointment with my family doctor. I was told he was fully booked and had to see another doctor instead. That doctor prescribed a few tests and an ultrasound, which I completed, only to later find out that crucial tests were missing. This should never have happened.

Eventually, I managed to get an appointment with my family doctor in July. Despite finally seeing him, he didn’t bother to check on me or my baby. He simply promised that the obstetrician would contact me in a week or two because he had sent a referral. Two weeks passed, and I heard nothing. I had to wait another two weeks just to book another appointment with him. When I went back, he seemed annoyed, told me he was too busy with other patients, and sent me home with another empty promise that the obstetrician would call the next week.

It wasn’t until the end of November—four months later—that I finally received a call from the obstetrician. I was shocked to learn that my family doctor had first sent the referral incorrectly and then didn’t send it at all. His negligence put me and my baby at significant risk, and it’s unacceptable.

When I decided to transfer to another clinic, I was appalled to learn they wanted to charge me a $60 fee. I explained that I was leaving because of their incompetence and failure to provide proper care, but they didn’t care. Every single person I dealt with at this clinic acted like they couldn’t care less about their job or their patients.

This clinic is disorganized, unsafe, and filled with staff who show no empathy or accountability. Do yourself a favor and run—don’t walk—away from this place. Do not risk your health or your family’s health by stepping foot here.

Santimed is a really fast and efficient doctor’s office. They do their best to help out fast and efficiently, even though they are always so busy. I love that they offer walk-ins starting at 6:30am. Being able to get on a waitlist at 4:30am is amazing so that I can be in and out before I start work. Dr. Deon Botha is a great doctor. He takes his time to get to you know and is always working with you to find the best solutions for you! He is almost always on time and if not I’m never waiting more than 10-15 minutes, whereas I normally wait at least 30-60 minutes at other clinics!

The doctors here are caring. I have never felt they were dismissive or condescending.
This is a busy clinic and the wait time is usually over an hour but
I keep coming back because the Doctors are very good. I will
Accept a long wait time for a doctor that can inspire confidence.
Dr Ahmadi, Dr Swart Dr Hanna all
5 stars. They deserve so many more.
The front staff also courteous and
Helpful but there is
1 rude receptionist and I always hope I don't get her when I call.

Called SantiMed this morning at 7 am. My symptoms were that of Bronchitis. The receptionist said come in right away, we can see you immediately. Drove the 2 blocks, to the clinic.

Filled in New Patient information, and within 10 mins was in an Exam Room. Dr. Hanna, was an excellent listener, and quickly determined I had Pneumonia. I got prescriptions, filled, as was back home resting within 1 hour.

Very clean and efficient Clinic, amazing Front Desk Staff, and Physicians. Thank you Dr.Hanna

I am very disappointed with this clinic’s appointment system. They seem to take appointments as a joke. Even after booking an appointment, you have to wait for three hours or more. It’s incredibly frustrating and makes the whole point of scheduling in advance pointless.

The clinic is overcrowded to the extent that there’s barely any space to stand, let alone sit. Patients are forced to wait outside in freezing weather, which is especially difficult when you have a baby. This level of mismanagement is unacceptable.

Every time I visit, my baby and I end up falling sick, likely due to the overcrowding and poor conditions inside. The clinic needs to take appointments based on their actual capacity and improve the overall experience for their patients. This is ridiculous and unprofessional.
