I give one star because fortunately the doctors were nice, but besides that, everything else was so mucked up. I had a test done, they tested for the wrong thing. Okay that’s fine I guess. I had a second test done, they threw that test away because it was already done (incorrectly) in the last seven days. Time off work, hours waiting, and now hoping I’m okay… this isn’t a Starbucks order you messed up, this is potentially someone’s health. And then was given a “cure” based off assumptions, not offered further testing. Just thought people should be aware.

Living in Revy for two months (from quebec) and this is such a nice clinic. Got my walk in appointment the same day super easily. Both administrators and doctors were helpful and nice. Got what I needed in seconds. Thanks a lot.

Selkirk medical is a colluded group of un- ethical and colluded apparent medical professionals. If you’re looking for a doctor to perform an abortion unregistered they are the group for you. If you need to compromise a persons life health and welfare then this is the place for you ! The medical practitioners here are willing to do the most immoral and un-ethical actions against their patients and compromise health care. This starts with the lead doctors to the secretary’s answering the phones. If you’re looking for compromised healthcare then this is the place for you. Trust me go elsewhere, these doctors couldn’t help a minor injury let alone any type of major injury.
They are only about personal profit, the return appointments, and further compromise of their patients. Do not go here.

Thank goodness for a walking clinic. Our going son injured his eye and we were able to get him quickly. Dr McDonald was very calm, patience and thorough.

Dont really understand the bad ratings. As a rourist I called and got a walk-in appointment within 30 minutes. Doctor took 10-15 minutes for the treatment / assessment and I feld very well taken care of. I also received all notes and details in writing. Can only recommend this place.

I got my IUD replaced, and the team of doctors and nurses working with me were incredible. I have severe anxiety, so they did their best to keep me calm the whole time and did everything slowly. They were very patient with me, constantly checked on me to make sure I was ok and asked if I needed anything. I felt like I was in excellent care and couldn't have asked for better doctors and nurses to help me.

I injured myself while skiing in Revelstoke . I was very grateful that this clinic was able to see me straight away as a walk-in. That said, I am afraid I was misdiagnosed. I ‘walked’ in pathetically using a ski pole as a cane nearly unable to walk, unsure of what I had dome to myself . The doctor, while friendly, seemed rather blasé about my condition. (I assume he sees A LOT of ski injuries). He did some strength tests and quickly determined that I had a minor strain of the groin-no X-ray. He sent me on my way-no crutches, no pain killers (which I hate) or even suggestions on a Tylenol/Advil regiment and in fact said, “The stairs are over there or you can take the elevator”. Remember, I could hardly walk. My husband was able to source some crutches and I called a friend who is a nurse and asked her about pain management. Fast forward to returning to my home in Colorado where I immediately went to my PT and told her of how I had fallen and of the diagnosis. She immediately told me to get an X-ray as the description of the fall and how I was presenting myself did not match up with the diagnosis. Turns out I have a fractured pelvis. I’m not quite sure why the doctor didn’t X-ray me, seems like a massive oversight. I actually just wanted to email the clinic and not post it like this but their website has no email. Anyway, I’m hoping they won’t be so ‘quick’ to diagnose and a little more willing to take note of the next patient’s issues.

EDIT: Saw a doctor from the Selkirk Medical Group at the ER of Queen Victoria Hospital. He was great. I did have trouble having a billing error fixed due to the difficulty of getting through to the practice by phone or email. I eventually got through, and the service to fix the problem was excellent.
