so many mixed reviews and after reading all of them i decided to write on, first off LOVE GEO, she made me feel so welcome and was the first staff i bonded with and allowed to touch my son - she was the only one who never asked to hold him right away . He was only about a week or two old when they met.

I have nothing bad to say about the SHEWAY part of the building, Helen is an incredible counsellor who does EMDR.

My son had open heart surgery at 3 months and we were on a medical isolation before hand and i would have gone insane without their endless support, they would make sure i had food, and was fed and baby had everything they needed they would send weekly and daily care packages and check up on me in the hospital when he went in.
I don’t know what i would have done without their support. They were there for us when we needed them, and even today are so supportive! I’ve never sensed them treating any women differently from others.

They even came with me to my son’s cardiology appointments, taking HOURS out of their day to support us. Just above and beyond!

sheway is a safe place to help you get your life in order. everyone is working on wellness, leaving behind old habits or vices, embracing pregnacy and motherhood, learning to accept help and guidance and ultimately build support networks so sheways services can help someone else who needs a safe place to heal.
a wrap around model offering everything from foodbank to court accompaniment, dr to physio therapy, sheway is a gem in the dtes always ready to help anyone willing enough to seek refuge in its dropin center.

more companies are needed like this and the staff deserve a raise because the care they provide is exceptional!

keep it up and dont stop changing lives! and the rest of the world, wake up! every city needs a sheway, the world would be a better place!!!!

I loved the staff the moment we got to know one another because of their no-nonsense attitude and their ability to make you feel comfortable. I have a favorite staff (she-o knows) but I know the other staff are absolutely fabulous in their own way.

This is a good place,,n staff r amazing that's what makes it a awesome place I couldn't have done it if it wasn't for awesome staff, lived there for 6 months n got r child back ,n they even had open arms to my partner n if they called mcfd on u its cause its needed ,,,n medical is awesome,,,n yes it's only more for women dealing with addictions ,,,n three yrs later still clean n sober n still have r child ,thank u sheway,,,

Out of all they helped with a lot and I appreciate everything they did they’ve helped step into a new chapter of my life with my daughter I got housing at Crabtree housing and got help from sheway this place is amazing
