Best mammogram experience ever!!!! I arrived early for my appointment and they took me right away. The staff both at the x-ray department and in the mammogram department were very friendly and efficient.
All of my questions were answered by the staff members.

5 hr wait might seem long but compared to treatment at other hospitals in Canada this is actually better than average.

Everyone was friendly and we received good treatment.

I had a very bad swollen cheek and I was painful,got there at around 3:20 and it was just one older couple that came there before us and maybe a hour later they left and it was a girl who hurt her ankle bad playing softball it looked like it and she was in the emergency little thing in the waiting room came 40 or 50 minutes after us and then it was a older man that was with two older women and he fell off something and hurt his leg and they came a hour after us and and it was at least 3 other people that came with some things wrong with there leg by then it probably 8 something and a baby comes in it was 7 months old it was took in immediately it was in there in till the time we left and by then 2 hours passed only with that older couple that baby and a teen boy that got a bandage on his leg at got checked two other people left by then (with out help) it was probably 9:30 it was just my dad my sister that older man with the woman the girl with the spirit ankle with her father and me we got notified that at 10:30 he might be seeing us because the doctor stops working at 11 and when the woman told us it was 10 so finally I get called for my cheek because I had a absence tooth and I got a prescription finally after waiting for 5 hours and to get a prescription that took maybe 10 minutes and we finally leaved the hospital at 11 something and those 2 other people got to see the doctor I'm very grateful to have gotten a prescription just the wait time is so ridiculous but thank goodness for the TV playing ru paul game show lingo and something about Celebrities dating and a Canadian jumping person doing only fans

Last Wednesday evening I took my husband to the Sussex Emergency room for a severe headache that was causing pain to his left eye. We were put right into the eye exam room and Dr. S. Allaby seen my husband right away. He was started on an IV and given pain meds and blood was taken. Dr. Allaby was professional, and had a wonderful bedside personality. He ordered a CT scan for the following morning in Saint John and a follow up appointment with an eye doctor. I have never had better health care in my life as what my husband received last week from these doctors and hospitals. Thank you very much!

Absolutely blown away with the care my fiancé received today. After multiple trips to another emergency room in the province earlier this week (with very little help, NO answers, or support for next steps)we decided to get a second opinion. We were absolutely amazed at the service we received! VERY knowledgeable and friendly staff! From the moment we walked in, we felt that his health was taken very serious and they explained absolutely everything in detail. Although the toll on healthcare is making itself known, this has restored our faith. This hospital should be a model for many others. Thank you to all the staff who helped us tonight! I've driven hours to get here today..hours. I need to see a doctor! 11am, not a soul in site. Straight in I go.... Three hours later. Still waiting? Seriously?! There was zero people here when I arrived. Four patients have come and gone around me since. Not one staff has come to check on me and I still haven't had my ultrasound. Disgraceful.

100% worth the 50 minute drive from Moncton to Susex!! Staff knowledgeable and highly efficient! From registration to leaving, including an xray, we may have been there an hour. Way to go Sussex, you're doing something right!!

Im sharing this as I wait in the emergency room in case I don’t remember later. There are over 12 people in the emergency room since I got here with my husband who’s catch some kind of mean virus at the gym, or so it seems; Anyhow we arrived at 6:30pm clearly stating how bad he is feeling, it’s 9:25pm and we are still waiting for someone to receive him, hopefully! And praying he’s not just prescribed dome Tylenol as we showed the nurse who took his symptoms in triage that he is already taking that. I went to advise the receptionist about this as it is well advertised in the emergency room “VERY IMPORTANT: if your condition worsens during your wait, please notify the triage nurse OR have someone do this for you” which I did for my husband, her response was “sure I’ll have them know” hours passed and nothing happened! Meanwhile here we are 3:30 hours later with just the hope to be outta here with a prescription that will help my husband feel better. This breaks my heart, because I can’t do anything ! And apparently this is the only way to get medical help in Sussex area! It’s dark outside already and we haven’t eaten anything, or drank anything, because if they miss you while they are calling your name it’s your loss!
Canada is a first world country but in medical terms it might just be one of the worst! If you must come here to this clinic in Sussex bring a snack, water, a blanket ! You will be here for long hours! I know and I’ve heard and have been informed that it’s worse elsewhere like in Fredericton! However, it’s average same in Canada!! we are all people here! and need medical attention, what’s happening with the higher hierarchies! System is collapsed! So sad!
