Huge disappointment… first and last time I order from this company. Poor germination for carrots and cucumbers. And the variety of carrots I ordered are definitely not what’s growing in my garden. Instead of moderately sized sweet carrots with blunt tips that I have grown for 40+ years, I have huge pointy carrots with poor colour and flavour. The sugar snap pea seed I ordered….. some seeds appear true producing a nice edible pod while other plants produce peas with a tough membrane inside the shell that has to be spit out. To their credit, If I sent pictures, they offered to reimburse me for the cost of the carrot seeds… but a few dollars isn’t going to change a thing… I’ve still lost a year of carrots.

Pink Dragon(Alocasia) I bought in the end of summer 2024, this is some photos with a bloom from the Alocasia that I had bought from here!

I find this so interesting! I never let flowers bloom on my Red Secret, or Silver Dragon, but I’ve done a lot of reading about flowers being less harmful for the Alocasia.

Hugh kudos to this greenhouse, I HATE greenhouses, and I mean that with a fiery passion of a hatred for pest larvae 😩 but this plant didn’t come with any pests or larvae☹️ it’s actually been one of my more beautiful plants 🥳 I did buy it in the later months of summer so it could be a simple explanation.

But this Greenhouse is 5 ⭐️ for the simplicity of not giving me new roommates(pests🪰🦟)

Terrible customer service from Tyne…I have been a long standing customer of t and t seeds . I have been buying grass seed from them for the last 3 years as I have a few dogs…I purchased a couple bags of grass seed…two different types for two different areas…the one did not take. I sent an email last month which they refused to replace the bag as they said I didn’t prepare the ground properly…funny as the other bag took just fine. I called customer service today to follow up and asked for a manager, Tyne refused to pass me on to anyone else and said she was the boss and she would not forward me on. They definitely don’t back their product nor value their local customers and don’t value you the word of their customers.I will be going directly to their supplier from now on. I have always supported local businesses especially small businesses..

My parents have purchased all their gardening seeds from you from your first catalogue. You were the only one they purchased from every year and we always had plenty of lovely vegetables and fruit from your products. I have ordered fruit trees from you and they were very big and tasty.. I now live in a seniors residence but will never forget your service, products and the catalogue arriving in the mail. Thank you for your wonderful service and hope you continue forever.

FINAL UPDATE: !!!!
Just called T&T ( April 15th) The original lady who called me concerning my review and I spoke about how nothing was germinating and she offered to replace those seeds. At the time I had not started any of my impatient seeds as it wasn’t time yet. She told me to call if they did not germinate and they could be replaced as well. So I started all of them right after the call (300 seeds) and it has been 17 days and there is no germination at all. The new lady I spoke with today is now asking me to send photos of the seed trays showing no germination ?! I guess they don’t make notes in files so the next person knows what is going on ? Definitely will not be ordering from this company again. They called me to make things right ……. Wasted $200 and all of my time.

Update: Received a call from a very nice lady asking if there was anything they could do to help resolve the problem…..they are going to send out replacement seeds. Will get them started and see what happens. Another update to follow.

This was my first time ordering from T & T. but I am a 25+ year gardener. We have a 25 acre farm and I grow all my own annuals, we also host garden tours for local seniors. I was very excited when I found T & T as they had seeds for annuals no other company I found had. I placed a seed order and it took about 15 business days to arrive and there was no tracking number provided so not sure if that is normal ( my order was over $200.) ? I sewed the geraniums I ordered about 14 days ago and at this point I have about 75% germination of one and only about 60% of the other which is crazy as I normally have almost 100% germination. I also ordered 3 different coloured petunias which I started 8 days ago and I am starting to panic because there is NO sign of germination at all yet. I have never experienced this before and it’s getting to the point where it would be too late to restart seeds.
Also ordered dichondras silver falls, 25 pk and there are probably 3x that amount of seed in the pack so not even sure if they are the right seeds ?
I currently have an order sitting in my Veseys account as I am so panicked about the germination. Come planting time I plant hundreds of annals and I am very concerned that isn’t going to be the case this year.

Bad experiences with bare root stock, would not recommend purchasing from here.
Received moldy root stock (white fuzz in pics). Figured I’d plant and submit a warranty claim if they didn't work out.
Product did not come out of dormancy. A few weeks after planting and watering regularly, I emailed to ask if there was anything I could do. They said to wait and submit a warranty claim after certain number of weeks.
I waited to submit a warranty claim and they denied me because I didn't fertilize according to planting instructions (that I had not received or been aware of). The first person I spoke to did not mention anything about fertilizing, I would have fertilized otherwise, but I instead listened to them.
After 2 years of disappointing stock I will be going somewhere else next to year.

Ordered 2 wild plums, 2 hazelberts and 2 russian pear trees. Only 2 of the 6 grew. The others did not grow because they were dead on arrival. Customer service is absolutely terrible. I will never order from T&T Seeds again. Horrible experience and a giant waste of money. Do NOT order from this company. They guarantee nothing.

And their customer service is truly impressive. I made a mistake on my order. So I called them, and within two minutes, I received an appropriate refund and an updated invoice by email.
