Absolutely disgusting what this company is doing, something needs to be done. They are single handedly not just destroying the last ancient forest we have and brutally treating the peaceful protesters who are simply just trying to protect our ecosystem. Greed has become the death of our society, and we are just allowing the government, corporations, and law enforcement to do what they want regardless of laws or human rights. I'm disgusted by this. We must stand together and fight to save fairy creek and also protect the rights of our indigenous people.

Logging ancient trees. Sues peaceful land defenders and chosing greed and short term financial gains over all else. You can do so much better. Old growth logging and products need to end before they are all gone. Move towards selective logging, regenerative practices and please be so much better...

No place for greed in an ancient forest

Old growth logging is something that cannot be performed anymore. We are in an environmental crisis. If we still want to have a thriving in tact ecosystem with wildlife and forests than we must protect more than ever for the years to come, or else there will be a barren BC landscape of burnt forests and logged. I certainly want future generations to enjoy the bountifulness of the wilderness. Teal Jones and companies alike are scrambling to make themselves look good to the public eye through deception.

What kind of company destroys irreplaceable millennia old trees? What kind of person would work for and support a company that does this kind of irreversible damage to an ecosystem, and to the lungs of our planet. These trees are never to return in our lifetime, our children's lifetime, or their great grand-children's lifetime. It would take 30 generation or more for these trees to return, but they never will. Old growth is arguably the most 'non-renewable' resource on our planet. 98% of ancient trees have already been destroyed in BC, so few are left. Why? This is arrogant human destruction, waste, and greed at it's finest.

I would give this disgusting company -5000 stars if I could. How DARE you log old growth forests and destroy important ecosystems that will take hundreds of years to return to the state they are in. How dare you destroy something so beautiful and precious. Not only that, but they know exactly how the protesters defending these trees are being brutalized by police and yet continue to send their workers and get injunctions. As well, I have seen footage of loggers insulting and threatening protesters. We don't need more lumber, or paper, or whatever. We need to protect land and ecosystems.
