Great clinic offering a wide range of services. They have doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians and a blood lab all in the same office, very convenient for patients. The medical director Dr Thakur is thorough and always makes me feel welcome.

We were really blown away by the comprehensive client care when this was Copeman but our experience since this has become Telus Health Care is beyond disappointing. Clinical staff are still exceptional but everything else is a mess. I've had major issues scheduling, rude/inappropriate clinical care coordinator and billing errors. When I've tried to email the various departments (as I was told I would need to do by front desk staff) I receive no response - just an auto response saying it will take longer than expected. For the cost of these services this is unacceptable. Wait times and response times are less in the free public system! If issues are not resolved promptly we will be canceling.

I've been a patient of Copeman now Telus Health for over ten years in Calgary and have had nothing but good to say about it. Had my wife sign up and also my parents although they all left for reasons of their own. I myself having had a couple of health problems have stayed on and although you probably only see your Doctor two to fours times a year the $4000 was worth it to me as the time and level of care was above any I've ever received from the public sector. My Dr. has since left Telus Health leaving me with no assigned Dr. to which Telus could not assign me another for over six months I was told if it were an emergency they could get me in to see a Dr. this does not sound like preemptive health care to me.Some months ago I had a friend of mine looking for a new Dr. as his was retiring and he contacted Telus Health, he is extremely happy and has had two separate appointments with a Dr. I was told was full up with patients even as I have been paying them for years and they could not find a Dr. for me.Long story short I asked for my money back and with no fuss they gave it back. Thanks for the rant.

Have had a similar experience to others who have reviewed lately. Our family (of 6+ individuals) has been attending Copeman now Telus Health for over ten years in Calgary and Vancouver. Since Telus took over, things have gone incredibly downhill. For the past year, we have not been designated to a specific doctor and we are seeing a different clinician at each appointment. For $4000 a year, we expected way more. We will be moving to a different clinic.

Why are telecommunication companies getting into healthcare? Telus sucks at their core business, the sheer thought of trusting them with anything related to health is ridiculous. It's easy to see where this is headed - higher cost, lower quality. Continued erosion of the Canadian healthcare system...

Not what it was at all, used to be great. I think since being taken over by a huge corporation like Telus, things have slipped. Dismissed my doctor without notice, exposed health and personal records to hackers and had to pay a ransom to get back the info. Can't get in to see your doctor, always too busy and given an alternative of nurse or doctor you don't know. Sometimes it takes a week to get in to see someone who doesn't know you. No more perks or personal touches, have to pay for parking, share the office with medysis. Really rather rude staff that seem to be deflecting their frustration on the clients. For 4K+ a year... it is a really weak service model.

I have been going to the Copeman clinic for 5 years and I can say that without a doubt it that was the best healthcare decision that I have ever made. The staff at the clinic are all amazing and the personalized care that you receive from the physicians and other professionals is exceptional.

Dr. Siddiqui and Linda (my dietitian) have spent countless hours with me. The advice and care they have provided has been incredible and has played an integral part in achieving my goals.

I would highly recommend this clinic!

Awful staff with the exception of one outstanding doctor.
Unsympathetic, patronising, and frequently cancelling appointments without contacting you.
Honestly with the exception of the one doctor, probably worse than a very average walk in clinic.
I get injections that are the only thing that allow me to function without extreme exhaustion, and with my regular doctor away I had to painstakingly wait a week to see someone else, and after driving 40 minutes to the clinic, they tell me the other doctor refuses to give me the shot.
I ask them to ask the other doctors, but an unsympathetic secretary insists the other doctors won't do it (but she refuses to actually ask).
Instead of doing what I requested and actually checking with other doctors she takes me to the office of the one who won't, who then prattles on about how she won't do it. I'm not sure what the point of this was except to aggravate me more. This lady doesn't seem very smart, and seems to be just wasting my time, so eventually I just stand up and walk out.
I ask for my medication back (this is medication that I bought that my doctor held there on my behalf) and they claim they can't find it.
I describe how bad I'm feeling and how I've basically been suffering for a week waiting for this appointment, and they have no interest in making sure I get it or helping me find another doctor - they LITERALLY RECOMMEND I WALK DOWN THE STREET TO THE FREE WALK IN CLINIC AND TRY TO GET HELP THERE.
This is what you're paying for - a bunch of time-wasting, unsympathetic jerks who just dump you to solve the problem they caused.

This is not the first problem I've had with them, either - once I broke my tailbone and couldn't get in to see my regular doctor, but I was in constant pain and needed help. They booked me in with a nurse practitioner who basically acted like I was a drug addict and refused to give me anything for the pain even though clearly taking max dosages of Tylenol and Advil were barely doing anything. Completely wasted my time - had me come in, confirmed my tailbone was broken, then just sent me away. (If you've never had a broken tailbone let me assure you, driving a manual car 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back when you have to constantly use the clutch isn't fun.)

The women in my family have all gotten very very severe menstrual cramps, and I've seen probably half a dozen doctors about it, and they basically just determined it's genetic. So we deal with them by having pain killers 2 days a month that allow me to not be uselessly in the fetal position for 48h. Once I ran out while my doctor was away, and they were going to have a nurse practitioner represcribe them for me, but once again, she dismissively told me I shouldn't have cramps that bad and should probably talk to a doctor about it, and acted like I was a drug addict (over TWO DAYS of light pain killers) and refused to help, just leaving me in pain.

The ironic thing is that if I wanted drugs, I literally work in an industry where I could have virtually anything illegally in less than 15 minutes. So to act like this over petty things is extra ridiculous.

Save your money, and your time unless you enjoy being condescended to, treated like a drug addict, and generally not being helped when you're suffering.
