Not sure if it’s hilarious or ironic that an emotionally unbalanced adult male with the patience of a 4 year old, who wouldn’t last 5 minutes in an actual survival situation, is running a survival prep business! Everything this business sells can be found cheaper and with better quality online and with delivery right to your front door. On the plus side, due to this place servicing roughly 5 customers a week, service I’m assuming should quick.

We are very lucky to have Total Prepare here in Victoria to supply our Emergency Preparedness needs. At first I thought they wouldn’t care much about my needs as they deal with municipalities and big companies all across Canada but the whole team there has been great. I’ve purchased food and water for emergency use and built several amazing kits with everything I think I could need. But for me, the best item they have are these Element Fire Extinguishers. I have them throughout my home and in the car and I want even more. They are amazing and I recommend them to everyone.

Had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this company. Very enthusiastic about what his family does and definitely stands behind the products they sell. I ordered a few items from them during their Black Friday sale. Online site was easy to navigate and there were many options for payment. Plenty of high quality products and quality foods sourced in Canada. A plus in my books. Shipping was quick and the package arrived safe and intact. Communication with employees was consistent and accurate. A positive shopping experience all around and highly recommend to anyone out there.

We have built our home emergency supply kits and our grab and go kits with numerous items from Total Prepare over the past few years.
They have a great variety of supplies available. We are very satisfied with the 25 yr self life of the food and water options. We also added first aid and many other items from Total Prepare to our kits.
Staff are always very helpful and accommodating.
We now have our emergency supplies completed (inventory listed with expiry dates) and only need to replace or add the odd item once in a while.

A couple of my military friends and I, always looking for the next great camping/survival gadget, saw an ad for Total Prepare Inc in the local newspaper. We went to the website and found the gear interesting so we thought we would take a trip to the store and check it out. We found that the retail outlet, located in a commercial section of the city seemed to be more of a shipping hub as the stock on the shelves was slim pickings. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful. The prices are somewhat competitive, and the website is nicely composed. Good to see a store like this on the island.
