The doctor I went in to see used Google search for his answer! What a joke! I was misdiagnosed, (shouldn't of been surprised) and still dealing with the trauma of that false diagnosis. I am disgusted with his lack of knowledge and professionalism. Is he even a real doctor

I was also seeing a nurse there at the time, she brought up the fact that it may be a misdiagnosis and indeed it was. She was kind, respectful, professional and understanding. Thank you nurse Leah for your help, support and knowledge. You changed my life!

Just be careful who you go in to see...

Often the phones are off during business hours.
The reception can't seem to convey correct month date or time for appointments making speaking on the phone with them extremely confusing. Good luck getting an in person appointment even for really important issues. They have a hard time sending important documents without being pressed, and the second you seem confused by their inarticulate conveyance, the hostility comes out in full force. Extremely rude, extremely unprofessional. It makes you want to rather wait 5 hours in the emergency room. It really is that bad. This receptionist needs to be fired. Not fit to answer a telephone.
Too bad you can't get past the reception because the doctors are great.

Dr. Ismail is the BEST doctor anyone can hope for. She listens and is caring and always very thorough. You could not ask for more

The people at the front act like children. When you call to say you’re in pain and need help they literally laugh at you. This place is disrespectful, unprofessional, and will lie to you.
If you need an appointment they always tell you it’s a 2 week to a month wait for an appointment.

I had a phone appointment the doctor never called.
Call logs to prove it and I can get my phone company say I never received calls from them.

I know they will try to take my doctor away/kicking me out of this office for this review but you need probable cause/proof I did something wrong. You can’t do that just because I gave a bad review and told my story.

I am fortunate to have a doctor who seems to genuinely care about my my health. However, as the time has gone on, I don't know how many receptionists you have but the one I have spoken to the last several times needs a major attitude adjustment. Im honestly shocked that she is still employed after the being spoken to the way I have. I have always been extremely nice and understanding but the way she has treated me (and it looks like many others) is extremely unacceptable. I really hope these messages are read and taken seriously, I am not one to complain.

Disgraceful way to run a practice. I called 3 months ago to find a doctor. They told me a new one is coming in October. I asked them to take my name and put me on a list and she said "no, just call in October and see if you can get in" So I just called and someone else told me I should have put an application in back when I called. I told them I was told "no" and she said "oh sorry, nothing we can do, try Mill Bay" lol Also their phone answering system says they no longer take perscriptions by fax or email from doctors and you have to book an appointment to see a doctor here which can take weeks. I guess they know with a doctor shortage they control everything and set the rules. Maybe it's time to contact the BC medical board and have them looked into.

The last thing you need when your feeling vulnerable and need to book an appointment to speak about health concerns to your Doctor is to be spoken to by a unit clerk rudely. She's passive-aggressive with her comments. I have had more than one moment with her over the years. I hope she doesn't treat our seniors with the same carelessly attitude. You would think before choosing a career you would ask yourself if your a people's person. The waiting background music says no disrespecting staff members.. I feel the staff answering the phones needs this reminder has well.

Professional and prompt but full (that's the provinces fault) - my doctor is amazing and always on time (respects my time) and we since everything that ails me. Reception has always been courteous and patient as well (not sure how she does it!). Easily 5 out of 5
