Just went to immunization clinic for kindergarteners with my kids (boys aged 3, and 4). To be honest, I could not have expected the level of thought, care, and dedication from staff. Immunizations can be stressful for families and the staff at Vernon public health thought of so many creative, healthy, and fun ways to share knowledge and support our community. I feel very fortunate to live in place with people as caring as this looking after us. They were so patient with me as I forgot papers, and had to deal with general 3 year old chaos while my 4 year old got his vaccinations. I felt that the staff helped me with informed consent and shared relevant information in a calm and pertinent manner. Thank you nurses. Thank you Vernon public health. I see you. And I appreciate you! ❤️

The maternity care ladies have been nothing short of amazing! Between home visits and my almost daily calls with questions about my newborn, they are patient, kind and walk me through my concerns and first time mom freak outs. Especially nurse Danielle, who I have been working one on one with. I don't know how I would get through this time without them! Thank you ladies!

I appreciate the thought, but they are so unorganized. Two appointments now I've been waiting for half an hour of an hour appointment, then only getting 20 - 30 mins instead of an hour. Today they called me in 2 hours early and then made me wait over 30 minutes to get in for the same thing to happen . Literally why even schedule me early if youre this behind. So many miscommunications too. They are very good at their work when you get in

This is where people go to get better. Unfortunately our health system is broken and this place is no different than any other publicly-funded Health provider. Not enough parking and staff that seems overworked to the point where they don't wish to serve you. Once you get in to see a doctor or health provider the atmosphere completely changes and it's all about you and getting better. If you can survive the parking and the wait then you will be on the road to recovery.

Wide range of services, some really amazing health care professionals work there. The building looks pretty institutional and foreboding from outside but theyve managed to keep it from feeling like a sanatorium inside.
