I called yesterday and advised to call today at 8am so I did. I waited an hour. I have no family doctor yet cause I just moved here. I am bleeding for one month now and miscarried last December. I just want to be checked on whats going on. When someone answered the call she immediately told me that they are full for the day. I told her if there’s any chance and that I am willing to wait since this is pretty close to our home but she advised to call other urgent care clinic and HANG UP. Is this how you deal with people who needs care? Checked online and it says that yes you are a little busy but that doesn’t give you the right to treat someone like that.

I’ve heard the horror stories. But my experience was incredible! I called in at 930am on a Sunday with a serious health concern that couldn’t wait for my family doctor to open on Monday. The receptionist immediately took my concern to the nurse, said I needed to be seen right away, but that they were full. She called around and told me a different clinic to call and I got in that afternoon. So friendly and so helpful!

Just finished my appointment, and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Even though my English isn’t great and I could only explain my symptoms in simple words, the doctor and nurses were really patient and did their best to help me and run the necessary tests.

Getting an appointment right when the clinic opens feels like a race. My friend and I were in a car accident and both needed a check-up. We called just 30 seconds apart, but our appointment times ended up being more than two hours apart.

My advice: be prepared. Know what you need, have your information ready, and don’t wait until exactly 8 to call—try dialing about 30 seconds earlier. It might take a while, and you might have to spend half a day or more waiting, but that’s just how it is. It’s not the clinic’s fault—they’re doing their best. Everyone here is really responsible and caring, so try not to blame them too much.

They have the worst process in the world . You have to call 8 am in the morning for walk in clinic. At the first place “Why do you need to call for a walk in clinic. If call is connected at 8:01 then you you have to call for an hour over the phone and 70+ people in front of you over the phone in a single minute. The phone never connected at 7:59. And then after hour wait the human talk to you and say “ we are full for the day please call tomorrow “. What doctor on the earth see only 10 patient in a day ?
This is the WORST Healthcare in the world . You don’t even deserve 1 star . You deserve minus infinity .

My elderly parents have used this clinic a number of times since their doctor retired six months ago. I attend the appts with them and have found the doctors, nurses and support staff to be very caring, attentive and welcoming. The nurses and doctors are very thorough and my parents never feel rushed. Thank you for providing excellent care.

As a retired ER nurse for 40 years from out of province, I must say that over the past 2 days of being at your clinic was absolutely great! The clinic is very clean, all staff from reception, through to nursing staff and our physician Dr. Moran were absolutely stellar! I was very impressed with the clinic and if I was any younger and lived in this great city, I would love to work here! The vib given off right from the start was wonderful for both my husband and myself! That was noted even before staff knew I was someone in the field formerly! My advise to patients is that although healthcare is in crisis here, it is everywhere throughout our country! So, be glad you have this service. I know it's a long process and wait to get on the line, but it is well worth your while once you obtain an appointment! The care rendered is exceptional! thank you for all you do at Westshore Urgent Care Clinic! We won't forget you, the time you spent with us and care provided to us so that we could enjoy our remaining time on the island! Lynne and Al Molyneux

They were very helpful. My daughter split her lip open really bad. There’s no doctor on site at the moment. It was off hours and nurse tended to her right away and another one came. They gave us lots of good advice hooked us up with supplies.

This is an absolute disaster in Langford. We don't have a walk-in clinic. They ask us to call in for a same day appointment.

Called this primary health care center at 8am with chest pain and they claimed that they're booked for the entire day. And I can't book an appointment for the next day. What am I supposed to do - just give up on life?

I'm hoping the government looks into improving the availability for this health center as people might die not being able to reach health care services in Langford on time. This ridiculous system of booking also has to be removed. It should be a walk-in clinic.

Nothing urgent about this place.
