I went in there with my Mom's upright walker because she said it did not feel as "stable and secure" as it had been when she first bought it. Some brake cables had not been secured properly and were always catching on things.
We explained the situation to the lady at the front counter. She went to the backroom where the technician was already working on something else. He came out and took my Mom's walker right away. He went over the whole thing, tightened a variety of fasteners, replaced a wheel bearing, and properly secured the brake cables with Velcro straps.
While we were waiting, we asked the lady at the front desk a bunch of questions about various products and prices and she was extremely helpful and friendly
My Mom was extremely happy with the "new feel" of the walker, she said it was way more "solid".
I have no problem highly recommending Sommi Medical Equipment.
I can see why all of their reviews are 5 stars.

Today's transaction was the easiest ever. The efficient and super friendly staff (Holland and Tristan) had the right product in my hands right away and delivered/installed by an expert within hours. My mom's raised toilet seat didn't fit our new toilet properly and the staff were able to diagnose the problem and recommend the correct size within minutes. I will return to Sommi in the future for medical supply needs

Sommi has been fantastic for my Medical Bed rental while I was recovering from severe surgery. Tristan in particular from Sommi is seriously amazing!! He's been exceptional from our first point of contact and through every interaction since. He's incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and always helpful. He's been so great to work with and has made an otherwise stressful situation that much easier to deal with. Only suggestion is for him to have some help when delivering/picking up big equipment cause the poor guy had to manage an incredibly heavy and cumbersome bed alone! I HIGHLY recommended Sommi, especially for medical bed rentals/purchases!!

I had no luck finding a scooter rental that met our criteria until this shop. I Came in looking for a scooter rental for my Mom. It had to be transportable, with good range, and weekly rate (vs monthly).
Salesman was very easy going, and let me check out the 2 options, although one needed to be assessed by the technician.

I came back with my Dad and the tech had just finished assessing the battery life and said the scooter we wanted was good to go. The check out process was very easy. We rented it at a very affordable rate for a week.
My Mom was able to do some easy local trails and the entire seawall with us (20km) and there was still battery life.
The seat came off and and the scooter folded down, so it fit in any of our cars easily. We used straps to lift it, but handles on the frame would have been helpful. It was possible to lift it in with one person using the straps under the frame.

Absolutely Awesome!! I came in to look at a Mobility Scooter. Both the Lady behind the desk and the technician were fantastic!! I went for a spin in the parking lot on one Scooter with my OT watching to see if I could handle it and got the green light. Went back in and the paper work was ready to be signed! Fantastic (not sure if I used the word "Fantastic" before, but it was). The tech evened helped me with an UBER back to my apartment. I am very grateful and humbled by the service I received today.

Went in with my friend to get some items for knee replacement recovery - the person at the desk was just awesome! He absolutely knew what he was talking about and was very helpful with discussing what we needed. We had to go back for an extender for one piece and again just super helpful, very pleasant and really accommodating. Highly recommend.
