Dr Shahparaki is wonderful.
He has amazing bed side manner, and took lots of time to listen to me and answer all of my questions, and even squeezed me in for a follow up after my biopsy when he was booked solid before time away from the office.

He made me feel so comfortable and seen, which is few and far between with Doctors in my experience.

He was so understanding and kind, and helped me figure out some food issues that have been making me feel horrible, that after cutting I have seen a huge difference.

The front staff were welcoming and great.

Dr. Shahparaki is a highly-respected veteran endocrinologist endorsed by many professional colleagues. Over the past 15 years, we have referred patients to him with great success. He is a community specialist, which effectively means that he is the only doctor to see you. Not with a bunch of eager students. In other words, he does not need to spend time teaching students, evaulating trainees, or doing quality control, which means that he can afford the time to actually service you. Also, we found that his approach is holistic and mature, not dogmatic. He is up to date on non-medical means to correct illness, such as specific diet and exercise and meditation (on top of medications!). And last, he is a thoroughly nice person you can actually talk to.

Dr Shahparaki is the only doctor, who was able to control my mother diabetes after many years. Last year I was referred to him for high blood pressure and blood sugar. I am very grateful of his time consuming care without rush and caring attitude. The office staff is wonderful too.
