Lovely, professional office. I was acknowledged as soon as I arrived. I was taken in to an exam room within moments of arriving. The doctor came to see me right away. She was knowledgeable and able to deal with my issue immediately. She was kind and thorough. She made sure I was aware of what to do after my appointment. She made me feel valued and confident in her care. Once I was done, I met with the front staff briefly and was on my way.

I’ve called multiple times and waited 13 minutes listening to the same frustrating hold music. When someone finally answered, I was immediately told I’d need to be put on hold again. After waiting another 4 minutes with no response, I hung up and called back—only to be stuck in the same loop with no answer.

At this point, it honestly feels like calls are being avoided. The automated message keeps pushing me to email because they're “busy,” but I’m fairly certain it says that every day—regardless of how busy things actually are. It’s incredibly frustrating because I had just one or two quick questions that could’ve easily been answered over the phone, rather than having to write an email and wait hours for a reply.

If things are truly that busy, there should be a designated person to handle incoming calls while other staff focus on in-person appointments. It’s not fair to overburden employees or leave clients stuck in an endless phone loop. It’s completely bananas that no one answered my calls.

Location is convenient. Lots of street parking available nearby. Reception staff is lovely and friendly. Dr. Scali is amazing and takes my best interests to heart and empathizes with me. Very thankful for the work that they do here.

DERM Lab is lovely. It reminds me of a luxurious spa with a clean, spacious waiting area which is ethestically beautiful. Calm music and gentle lights make this an extremely pleasant environment. The staff is lovely and Dr. Zandi is professional, friendly and delivers top notch medical treatment in a calm and reassuring manner. I felt confident dealing with her and would highly, highly recommend going to DERM Lab. for all your skin related issues and questions. You will not be disappointed.

I am continuously frustrated with this clinic.
After waiting months for my first appointment for acne I was told accutane is the only treatment after expressing I did not want to start accutane unless completely needed i was prescribed a medication that has side effects of lowering blood pressure. The doctor did not check my blood pressure, I already have extremely low blood pressure so to immediately prescribe me this medication without checking is extremely dangerous. After emailing my concerns after I realized I was only given an appointment 3 months later only to have it canceled 1 day before!!! Extremely frustrating leaving you on hold for an hour and never answering emails. So you can’t request them not to cancel the appointment. They do not care about patients health here.

Fantastic experience with Dr. Kurtizky. Wanted a mole removed for cosmetic reasons consultation was quick and easy booked in for CO2 surgery the next week. Got in early, procedure was quick and painless and was on my way in under 1 hour.

I had an appointment with Dr. Davis, hoping to receive real investigation and answers regarding a chronic, hereditary follicular condition that has worsened over time. Instead, I was immediately dismissed without any attempt to actually diagnose or understand my symptoms.

Despite showing clear evidence of scarring, infection, and blocked follicles, Dr. Davis refused to conduct a skin biopsy or any other diagnostic test. Instead, she insisted on a visual diagnosis and dismissed my concerns as just “ingrown hairs” and past “acne scarring.” If the issue was as simple as that, it wouldn't be actively worsening or causing infections.

I explained that this condition runs in my family and that previous treatments (antibiotics and topical creams) had failed, yet she showed no interest in further investigation. The lack of curiosity, dismissiveness, and refusal to listen to the actual patient in front of her is deeply concerning.

If you are looking for a dermatologist who takes their patients seriously, listens, and actually investigates underlying skin conditions, I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere. This experience left me frustrated and unheard—patients deserve better.
