Island Mediquip

Had an amazing experience at island mediquip. The prices were fair and the staff was very helpful. I will be recommending to all my friends and family.

just picked up my tire from my wheelchair from getting repaired so a handicap guy on a pension for a flat tire on my wheelchair $73.75. This is totally ridiculous unfounded outrageous nothing I could I can see about this $71 with taxes, I’m speechless. Speechless. I don’t know how this guy can even live with himself charging $73 to replace the tube on a bicycle tire speechless I would not recommend him nor would I ever go back to him again

Terrible customer service. Yesterday she said she’d call back about crutches and never did. Today I called again and left a message asking about renting a knee scooter. No call back. I called again this afternoon and finally got her on the phone and found out that they actually do have a couple for rent. She just hadn’t bothered to let me know. I have a broken ankle and a badly broken toe and can’t get around!! My husband could have taken his lunch break to pick one up, but now they’re closing in 25 minutes and he can’t get there in time. Maybe one day she’ll break her ankle so she knows what it feels like to not be able to move anywhere, even in your house.

I've dealt with them personally on the phone and in person with all of my purchases. Staff have been very helpful ,knowledgeable, kind, courteous and accommodating always.. Thank you Yvonne McDonald

I was walking on the crosswalk on trunk road today around 4:30PM and a mediquip van came tearing down the road (the driver definitely had enough time to see me if he was actually looking). I was almost to the middle of the crosswalk at this point but could see him coming in hot. He almost ran me over doing a right turn, I had to scurry to get out of his way. He was smoking a cigarette in one hand and talking on his phone with the other. I raised my arms to so he would see he almost hit me but I don't think he even saw that. I am hoping that management will see this and talk to their staff about the importance of being safe on the road and maybe even maintaining a professional image for the company?

Island Mediquip, Duncan, did not just sell us a first class mobility scooter (Fortress 1700 DT) at a fair price, their technician, Carl, took us under his wing from the start and has looked after us ever since way beyond the call of duty. We cannot sing his praises enough. He is extremely knowledgeable, highly experienced and, perhaps most importantly, genuinely very caring. My wife and I feel blessed to know he is looking out for us. Thank you all at Island Mediquip, Duncan and thank you Carl.

When my Mom needed medical equipment recently, the good folks at Mediquip in Duncan were right there with their well-qualified advice and assistance. Nicole in the main office was efficient, knowledgeable and understanding and she provided empathetic help when I needed it most. Technicians Wayne and Carl were great, too! Thanks to all of you and I'll definitely turn to you again when anyone in our family needs medical equipment.

Carl and Clayton were great at installing the stair lift on the outside of our home, our son uses them every day. Thanks so much
