We had a meet and greet with the new general practitioner brought on by the clinic but it was a giant waste of time since he can’t handle the basics of the job like treating mild mental health issues like depression or anxiety or anything mental health related for that matter.

The front desk staff are cold, rude and impatient.

Very disappointing experience.

I’m extremely disappointed with the front desk staff at this doctor’s office. They are consistently rude, dismissive, and show a complete lack of respect or care for patients. It feels like an inconvenience to them just to answer a question or schedule an appointment. There’s no empathy, no professionalism, and definitely no effort to make patients feel welcome or valued.

Dr Dahi is my sister's & my GP. Both of us are (way) up in age, with several medical issues. We've seen a lot of drs as our careers had us moving around a lot, even settling in other countries. This preface is given because without doubt, Dr Dahi is the BEST Dr (7-8 yrs now) & on top of everything. He is pleasant, a good listener, quick at referring to specialist if need be. You can discuss whom you want, (if you've researched or been recommended ) he treats you as a partner in your healthcare. Your body, mind, life.

He will explain why or why not on medications/ treatments. He will notify you when blood work is due, (email a requisition or directly to the lab), or results are in - he keeps track of your specifics, makes notations, pulls up on his PC screen to review. Time management now a factor w all Drs, he puts it to good use, by being efficient & organized. Same with appointments by phone call or video. * His staff, nurses, assistants, multi-tasking reception team are proficient, respectful, polite, friendly.*

Contrary to some doctors, Dr Dahi is not arrogant, nor has a big ego. He is never above explaining, in fact, is open to answering questions, the what, why, when, must I ? Nor does he arbitrarily make decisions without patient agreement. Though he acts swiftly, & has no qualms about sending one to the E.R. when it's the right move. ( At night on New Year's Eve, blood in my urine, ditto, late p.m. early a.m., my birthday for an MRI with strict instructions to my sister " You know how she is, make her go!") Dr Dahi is ever- intent on the well-being of each individual patient.(truly)

Apart from being savvy, experienced ( middle-age ), confident, pleasant, positive, empathetic -all factors that make a great G.P. It may not be necessarily of importance, probably never in a feedback review, however- we know him to possess a good sense of humour too, if provoked. 😄. To laugh.
After all, as the saying goes " laughter is the best medicine". Especially coming from Dr.Daji!

Terrible doctor. He didnt even sit down to talk to us, he was rushing out of the door right away. Completely ignored our requests and questions. Never going back to this clinic.

Dr Torshizi does not care about helping patients- he was rushing to leave the room even though I only spent about about 2 minutes of his time.
He said that he will send an allergy test referral but i highly doubt that as he was already walking out of the room while mentioning that. Did not sound convincing/believable with his attitude.

Dr. Akhavein has been my family doctor for over 15 years and she is the most caring and patient doctor I have known. She truly puts in an effort to care for me and both my children, and I’m grateful to have such a knowledgeable and understanding physician. She is really great with children too.

Anytime I have met with another doctor at this clinic I felt the same confidence and compassion.

I highly recommend this clinic.

Extremely frustrating experience with the booking staff at Marine Drive Medical Clinic. Tried to make an appointment for the upcoming week (today is Saturday for me and tried to book for the upcoming Friday or Saturday) but the website doesn't allow for booking that are more than 18 hours in advance. Therefore, gave the clinic a call to see if I could book via phone. The receptionist asked if I tried the online booking service to which I replied I did with no avail and stated the above reason. She kept telling me to use the online booking service and got frustrated that I was taking up her time when I can do it online and claimed that she had to help other people because she had a line up at the clinic. I constantly explained that the service does not allow for bookings that are more than 18 hours in advance but she did not listen. She kept getting frustrated and questioned if I was even on the right page. Secondly, she said that she couldn't make a profile for me due to the large number of people she had to deal with in the clinic. I understand the clinic may be short staffed, but she framed it in a way that I was responsible for her not being able to help the other people because I was taking up her time. How is me calling to make an appointment a negative and why is it my fault that the clinic is short staffed? The call concluded with her asking for my phone number and she said she would call me back. While I do not have experience with their doctors, there receptionist is extremely unprofessional and I would not recommened this place. Find another clinic that has better service and basic manners.

I had an appointment yesterday with Dr.Devin, and it was confirmed I had been in the clink waiting for almost 30 Minutes. Finally, Ms. Maureen, the office assistant, took me to the room inside and again waited almost 25 minutes again, but the doctor didn't show up. and I hear her voice in the next room. So I came back to the office assistant asking why it was all that late, 55 minutes. And all of a sudden, Maureen said the system did not respond correctly in the first place, and I have to reschedule your appointment after 40 days. this is the only spot available now?
Of course, I was so frustrated because of the irresponsibility. I had already been waiting for this appointment for almost three weeks, and then I would wait for another 40 days.
It was a bad experience, and the office assistant was not helpful.
