Was there today at about 5:30pm. Brought a small order of nails up for payment. The clerk at the front was on her phone and didn't get off till I waited for her. Looked like a store supervisor was there also. This is very common here for some employees to be on their phones instead of working. Didn't remember the size but the name of these specific nails. I was told they all had the same name, no they don't. Then she just stared at us I said ok I will go somewhere else.
There is 2 old guys there who are very helpful but the rest of the store is quite questionable. I am not blaming anyone but RONA should be reviewing the management at this store for condoning this type of behavior.

We got there at 5:53 pm. Closing was at 6. I worked already had 1/2 of the gate closed. He stopped us to ask what we wanted to get. We explained we needed some pavers from the yard. We were told it closes at 5:45 so we could not go in. We also needed something from in the store and he said we could go in but had to be done in 5 minutes. It was not said to us in a professional way. Did not like the way we were responded too. Not good for business.

Was looking to get composite decking, showed up at 6pm, the staff on shift stated that they had the product but only the managers had the pricing for this product and that all the managers went home at 3 pm, after numerous attempts to call a manger the staff apologized and said they were embarrassed that they couldn't sell me the product I was looking for even though it was in their yard. Just another example of how poorly managed this store is, used to be a great store a few years ago.

June 23/25 - I came in for hardware to attach my headboard to bed rails. I spoke with four employees, none of them had a clue.

I went again to go look for somebody else, and a girl I already spoke with was approaching the aisle. I mentioned I was still having trouble finding assistance.

She said, "Maybe Bob knows." Bob did know. He knew exactly what was needed.

Terrible location. This is not a real Rona. Service is awful. They don't know anything. They don't care. They aren't helpful. They barely carry anything.

Their excuse for everything is that they aren't really a Rona. They are individually owned and have their own rules. They don't follow Rona standards. So why bother putting the Rona name on it?

Their prices are much higher than every other Rona and they say it's because they aren't really a Rona.

If you buy something from another location you can't return it here because they aren't really a Rona.

They don't honor sale prices because they aren't really a Rona.

If the website says they have something in stock they probably don't. We drove all the way here because the website said they had six on a hand. When I got there they had none. They said we don't keep our quantities accurate on the website because we aren't really a Rona.

It's time to remove the Rona name from your store. You're not really a Rona. You've said so yourself. Many times.

Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is perfect, the staff is friendly, and the service is impeccable. The food/drinks are always fresh and delicious. I keep coming back because I know I’ll never be disappointed. A true gem!

Good help from the floor staff. Lumber yard folks also very helpful. Paint department has good selection of supplies. There are some very nice people working here and I have found it to be consistent in all departments. Dog - friendly! 🐕‍🦺🦴

Customer service wasn’t very helpful over the phone pertaining a defective product return or exchange. I also don’t have a receipt since it was a month ago but usually the store in Maple Ridge is far more helpful with more information. I work for a store similar to this one, there’s different ways to have a conversation over the phone. Also, found it unprofessional when they answered the phone with “hi” I actually had to ask if I was speaking with someone at Rona. Hopefully, I am able to speak to someone else when I go in store to get a credit or something, used this hose 2 times and has holes all over clearly defective.
